He's Going to Camp AND We're Still Going to Disney:) Update Dec 14 post #665

Loved the new update. We are going to LeCellier in Dec for lunch so I really enjoyed the food pictures. I thought my DH would enjoy it as he is from Montreal. It's neat that you got to meet Jane.

I've never seen Jane, either, so score one for you guys!

I love the Morocco pictures - the fountain and the building. I want to spend much more time in Morocco, but I usually have people with me who do not, so I move on. One day, I am going to take a solo trip just for picture-taking. Just me and my camera - and about five memory cards.

Dad's steak looks delicious!

The guys on the balancing chairs - that's some crazy stuff!

After our engorging meal, we walked back through to France where we saw these guys (see Kathy!)

If I have my dates right, we saw these guys on Friday the 8th and your report says you were there on Saturday the 9th. I went back and checked my pictures to see if anyone in the background was the same as yours (just in case I had my dates messed up) but I couldn't see anyone that matched. We must have been standing in just about the same place you guys were only about 24 hrs. earlier :rotfl:

Love your update and WOW, a picture with Jane. I've never seen her there! Looking forward to hearing more.

Cathy

great update and pics.

great u saw Jane. I never would have known that is who it was.

My dh says his favorite "princess" is Jane, but we've never met her.
I would LOVE to run into her so I can tease him. LOL

We love to visit your "motherland" at Epcot too, for the food. I don't think we've seen the movie since 1991. I have been putting it off until the kids are bigger.

Great update! :thumbsup2

Great World Showcase pictures. I will be looking for Jane on my next trip, I need a picture of her for my album.

Who knew that meeting Jane would be such a coup. She was alright but she was no Jasmine. Jasmine said i could be her prince. :goodvibes

Evening gang, time for an update. Pooksma and Declan have gone to see the Blue Man group so I figure I won't be interupted by ds and have to explain why he isn't in the pictures. :rotfl:

After walking around the UK and France, pooksma grabbed a funnel cake at the kiosk just outside the American Pavillion and we strolled towards the International Gateway to catch a boat to the Dolphin.

Some shots from near the giftshop at the gateway.

We jumped on a boat just before it left the dock and grabbed a seat. We had a great conversation with a sweet little girl and her father on the way over. Didn't take long before we arrived at the Dolphin

Tha main lobby fountain was being repaired but I did get a couple of other shots.

We made our way to the spa a little early but they took us in anyway. We had a relaxing time in a nice quiet hottub and then our massage. The massage was good but nothing great. My masseuse was good but pooksma thought hers was just ok. They were both very professional and it was a nice way to spend a couple of hours but it was a tad overpriced.

After a bit more relaxing, we decided to just head for DHS to see Fantasmic. Here are some more shots as we waited.

After another nice cruise, we arrived at DHS around 7 p.m. I think I just saw this picture on another trip report.

We decided to stroll to the theater and get a seat early. Last year we arrived late and had to sit way over near the end. This year be were dead center.

Along the way, we picked up some very salty pretzels, some drinks, and a few pictures.

Continued in the next post.

We settled in for the wait and didn't enjoy our salty pretzels (more drinks were required - water of course). The crowd streamed in steadily and the theater filled up. We decided that you could probably arrive 30 to 40 minutes out and still get a really good seat. As the stadium filled, a few people started the predictable wave. Their was an older gentleman sitting next to me and he was into it. He never missed a wave and made sure we all knew it was coming back.

Here are some pictures from before and during the show for your enjoyment.

After the show, we decide to head back to CBR. It had been a long day and we were both tired. But not so tired thaT I couldn't get in one more shot.

We also made a quick stop at the movie memorabilia shop just to the right of the entrance. There is a lot of cool stuff in there and some of it wouldn't cost you that much.

Well that's all for another night. In our next day, we'll fill you all in on a big Dis meet that even included a Disser that wasn't physically present.

I hear tell she's not all that mentally present, either!

Gotta love Fantasmic! That's where Jill will be next Sunday night for her birthday, and she is so excited!

It's hard to get good pictures of those water screens, but they are so cool.

We've never been to the Swan or Dolphin, but we have it on our long list of things still to do. I'd like to see what they're like, even if they're not officially Disney.

You met a famous director?!?! Awesome! Did he ask you to be in one of his movies? You could play the wise college professor!

LOL.

He never offered me any movie roles; he just agreed to the picture. He had just given out a contract to the young lady before me. I guess she had better legs. :goodvibes

Sounds like you had a very relaxing day. Love, love, love Le Cellier but I am probably the only person who doesn't like the soup. I love that Vision picture at the Art of Disney. I bought the postcard because I didn't go in that store. It's such an inspiring picture. We hope to get to Fantasmic next time.
Thanks for the pictures.

It was one of the slower paced days we had. All of the artwork at WDW is great. If I had a million dollars.......

Fantasmic is a great show. What I really like about the night time shows is that they are all so different.

Sounds like fun! Were you guys effected by the hurricaine?

Not at all. Didn't even know there was a hurricane when we were there? Was that the one that crossed through Mexico?

Sounds like you guys had a great day. Of course we know your next day will be even better with a DISmeet. Looking forward to your version. ;)

We'll try to be quick. Just finishing up the some preocessing on the pictures and they will soon be uploaded to Photobucket.

Looks like you two had a nice relaxing day! :)

It was a relaxing day; in fact, the whole trip was rather relaxing. It must have been we didn't have a 7 year old Disney commando with us. :lmao:

great update and pics.

Thanks Scott. Glad your still following along.

I uploaded all the pictures for our next day last night so hopefully we will start on the report soon. To tide you over, here is our hidden MeMom picture.
