My boyfriend and I have been arguing a lot lately about what we want to do for a long overdue vacation. Yesterday, after a day I was particularly annoyed with him, he called me and said we're going to do the Disney cruise that I had been bugging him about in the first place! Yay!!

I even got him to sit down and watch my planning dvd with me. :Pinkbounc

He's so desperate to get away from home for a while, he's said we'll go in June. I'm not sure if we'll be able to get time off from work so soon, but it's worth a shot. First, Chris needs a passport...

Congrats, AngieBelle! If you are still a CM, make sure to try for the discounts. If you need details, feel free to PM me :)

Yup- still a CM! That's the main reason we can afford to do the Disney cruise...otherwise I'd probably go on another line.

I'm a bit worried I'll get Disneyed out since I already work at the parks fulltime, but everyone I know who's done it has raved.

Yesterday, I talked to one of the Ariel performers at TLM at MGM who used to perform on the Disney ship!

That is fantastic news!! :flower:

Watch, after this cruise, he may become addicted!

YEAH!!!! Can't wait to chat with you Friday night! That is wonderful news. Do you mean this June? If so, then he doesn't need a passport.

Wow this is strange....LOL Let me explain! I just was reading a VERY OLD thread this morning (I think on the Theme Parks board) and saw a posting by you, and I was wondering how you were! I remember seeing many of your posts and threads over on the Community Board in years past :) What a coincidence to "see" you here today! :) :wave2:

Anyway, congrats on your decision to go on a Disney cruise!!!! :boat: We loved it so much that we're cruising DCL again next year :) And just for reference, we've cruised Royal Caribbean before, our DSs are both teens, and STILL it was unanimous that we cruise on DCL again :)

Have a wonderful cruise!!! :sunny:

P.S. We'll be at WDW in July....where do you work in the parks?? :)

Yes, this June...he doesn't need a passport? I thought I read somewhere that you do need one.

Seaspray- Yeah, I'm still around! I'm on the themepark board far more than the community board now.

I work in WDW entertainment. :) (I'm really good friends with a couple of mischievious chipmunks and a Pooh)

I've cruised once before but not with Disney. I did the Princess Cruiseline's Alaskan cruise with my family right before I left for college a little over 5 yrs ago.

AngieBelle,

I cruised as a CM and LOVED it...my family liked it so much, that we went again in 01/05...Have fun :)

Very cool, Angiebelle!

And no, no passport is needed at this time. He will just need a government issued picture id(lisence) and a certified birth certificate with a raised seal.

Enjoy!!!
