Hertz puts Cameras in its Rental Cars...says no plans to use them

I just booked with hertz for our upcoming october trip. got a really good rate of $25 a day so i grabbed it. but this makes me really uncomfortable. think i will try budget instead.

Once Hertz realizes that people are going with a different rental company because of this "feature" they will change their policy.

If you are so uncomfortable just disable the camera.

Just disabling the camera doesn't get the message back to Hertz that I don't want to be spied on.

I wouldn't disable it because i wouldn't want to get another charge from hertz. I just won't use them anymore.
