Is Hertz onsite at MCO or is it one you have to take a shuttle to? I just booked our rental car through Hotwire and got a great rate from Hertz.

Hertz is a short shuttle ride away. The shuttle is always sitting outside so no waiting for one. We find them very quick.

Before returning your car do curbside check in and then you won't have to load your luggage on the shuttle.

We love Hertz at MCO. I found them faster than National.

We have gotten Hertz several times through priceline, and even with the shuttle, they are often faster than some of the onsite locations like Alamo. The fastest has been in our car within 15 minutes, including bus ride, and the slowest was 45 minutes on a holiday weekend.

lovelykccat , we love CBR. We have stayed there many times. Even now I only live about 15 mins from CBR we go over to walk the grounds and have lunch. I truly feel like I have escaped the world at CBR.

If you can get a reasonable rate go with Hertz. I had a family of four and my kids enjoyed the shuttles short ride. I was in and out of Hertz within 10 minutes and I got a new Highlander (only 400 miles on the odometer). I hate using Alamo the people are rude and push the insurance too much. Also you actually have to walk across the street and wait for a small elavator to go to the second floor of the parking garage then they tell you to pick a car and its too much like being a kid in the candy store you just can't make up your mind. Its a silly headache you don't need. Then you have to check out of the garage which was a big hold up on both my attempts with Alamo. Stay away from them its no way to start a vacation. Hertz treats you right.
