Hertz location closest to WDW?

DH and I are p/u vehicle at MCO and only need the car a few days during our vacation - is there a location close to WDW where we can d/o the vehicle? We had thought the Caribe Royale was close but not certain - any advice???

According to Hertz's list for Orlando, the Caribe Royale is the closest. It's about 2 miles outside the Hotel Plaza Blvd. gate, if I'm estimating the distance correctly. (I know none of the locations on the list is any closer to WDW, though; I know where all of them are.) Depending on which onsite hotel you need to get to, that could be a nearly 8 mile cab ride back to it.

Can you go with a different company? Nat'l has 2 locations inside the property, and several of the DD hotels have car desks, too (though not Hertz, apparently.)

Thanks - we actually had a reservation through National but DH was able to trade in for some Hertz check vouchers that could pay for up to 7 days but we don't want to keep the car for the full 11 days - it actually may just cost us less in the long run to book Hertz for the entire time - we were quoted $289 with taxes for 11 days with a mid-size and the vouchers will take care of more than half that - thanks for the advice!!!

I would look on the Hertz website for the Local edition locations. They will pick you up to get the car and come pick up the car when you need to return it.

There is a location on 192 in Kissimmee that I have used and they are great. You have to arrange it ahead of time for the pickup and drop off.
