Here's the Direct AAA/Disney Phone Number

For those who have AAA membership, I am posting the direct phone number to the CM's at WDW who can handle AAA discount reservations. When I first called the CM I got told me I had to book directly through AAA to get the discount. After talking to my AAA travel agent and another CM at Disney, I was given this number to call and speak with a AAA/Disney specialist.

I've seen many, many posts about AAA discounts and I just figured this might make things easier for some.

The number is 1-407-828-8101.

I was a little frustrated that the first CM I talked to didn't know about AAA discounts. I called back and another CM tried to switch me over to the Disney/AAA specialist but the line was busy, so she gave me that direct number to call. Good luck!!!

I still had no luck with the room & ticket package. They insist the AAA discount is not available with the package.

AAA discount is absolutely available on packages if you book thru a AAA agent... i have disney's prices and the ones quoted to me from my local AAA rep and the AAA rep's are better...

i don't know if this AAA/WDW CM can get those same package prices, but i would love it if it worked that way!

As far as I know, you do have to call a AAA travel agency to get the AAA discount on the room-portion of a MYW package (w/tickets + dining).

If you just want the AAA room-only discount, you can book that through Disney or any other travel agent.

You are absolutely correct. I should of said that I wasn't able to get the AAA discount on packages through Disney, but that I already had the package booked with a discount through my local AAA office. I was brief because I am bummed over the fact that I can't book this directly through Disney.

I've said all of this before (probably even on this board, and probably even today--lol). I know it must sound like I'm complaining, and you're right, I am, but it's really not THAT big of a deal. It's just a minor irritation, that's all. I just keep clinging to the hope that SOMEONE will find success in booking the MYW + dining with a AAA discount directly through Disney.....I suppose I just need to let it go....

For those who've not heard me whine about this before, here's a recap of my REAL complaint:

I live 80+ miles from my AAA office, and I hardly ever need to go to Dallas...not even for Christmas shopping. Yet, I will have to make the trek in late November/early December in order to pick up all of my package materials from AAA. My local AAA agent says he cannot mail anything via snail mail. I will have to pick up everything prior to our departure date by driving to the AAA office in Dallas.

Although it's a minor inconvenience, I know I can take comfort by remembering the $466 savings while en route to AAA Dallas.

I don't blame you for complaining. HOWEVER - as a AAA member, you can book through any AAA travel agency - it doesn't have to be the one closest to you. I booked through one in southern California since the ones near me were dumb about the new MYW packages + dining, and my agent is awesome. No booking fee, she sends confirmations both by fax and mail (had to sign the credit card slip too), and she will mail the documents to me. Just an FYI! I didn't know I could do this, but ended up with my agent out of frustration. I was thrilled! Maybe this could help you!

Try a different office. (no flames please...) a coworker who is AAA bought our tickets for us (and for herself at the same time) had them mailed to us. This was AAA North Jersey. They did charge a $5 handling fee but that covered all the tickets.

(I think AAA is great, but since I can't legally drive, it seemed a bit much to join just to buy disney tickets once or twice...and the AAA member offered, since she was buying her own at the same time anyway.)

Well that is great that you were able to book the AAA discount and the plan through the special number.

If people can get them to do it using the number you gave, that's wonderful I guess though if they keep getting CMs who won't do it, I would still suggest going through AAA.
