Heres a way to get Beauty&Beast and Tink

Ok, I love these deals. The only problem that might crop up, and I haven't read the coupons or ads so I'm not sure if it will apply, is usually these deals say they can't be combined with any other offer.

They GENERALLY consider the pre-order discount to be one offer, the gift card to be another offer, so they won't allow the offers to be combined.

Now, if the fine print happens to not specify this, I'm heading right over there tomorrow!!!

I just checked the TRU website. It still has Tinkerbell & the Great Fairy Rescue and Beauty and the Beast listed at $29.99. Now, I know that when Princess and the Frog came out, Target, Walmart, etc. all had a pricing war. Several of them, including TRU, dropped the price a little. Come Tuesday, the price very well could drop to $24.99. I don't know. I am just saying that as of 15 minutes ago, the website still had it at the higher price.

yeah, I've been wondering if the price war will begin and Target or Wal-mart will come out with something better. But in the past, TRUs seemed to have the better deal.

There is also a $5 off $25 coupon floating around on the web for TRUs...not sure if they will let us apply that but if so, there's another $5 saved (if you have to purchase something else anyway.)

I just did my preorder on Tink today. Hope someone who goes to pick up their copy tomorrow will post on how they make out working the deal with Beauty & The Beast!

Well I ran into a slight snag tonight when I ran in to do my Tink preorder! My ToysrUs is all out of the Beauty and the Beast preorders. I couldn't decide whether to go ahead and do the Tink preorder or not...finally decided to go ahead and do it and hope that our other(farther) store has them still tomorrow. Hope no one else runs into this problem tomorrow. Good luck all!!

We just got back from WDW late last night, so I believe we missed out on preordering Tink and doing the rest. Is there any way to get the amazing deals on B&TB and TS3, or am I out of luck now?

today I went to try and get my discounts.

I had paid the $10 po on TB, and did the PO on BatB today. i also tried to get the price matched from Target.

To make a long story short... I managed to get it for $3.21 as they said they voided everything out from seveal failed attempts on the cashier's part to get it to work.

HOWEVER.... i've yet to see the preorder refunded back to me. So my $3.21 is actually $13.21. I did get the $10 gift card and $10 watch.

This was my initial breakdown.

$29.99
-$10 po
($19.99 balance).
-$10 coupon
-$10 BatB po
(-$.01 balance)

this is the part TRU had an issue with. It wouldn't let it do the coupons with a negative balance. they had to void my initial transactions I did because a manager said ring it up without the preorder ($10 off BatB) and go to CS to fix it.

I had a Pricematch for $22.99 which the store manager said he'd honor.
So this is my new coupon:
$29.99
+$.01 (watch)
-$27 (which was to be the $10 coupon, +$10preorder of BatB, and the $7 price difference of target's 22.99 and TRU's 29.99).
=$3.21 (inc tax)

however, my initial preorder $10 I gave for TB isnt refunded yet. It was a debit card and I don't really want to go to the TRU again to deal with it.

It didn't work for me. I went to TRU today to pickup my copy of Tink and they would not price match the Target price! The supervisor told me basically that Target having a cheaper price is just the way it works?? Then he kept trying to charge me another $10 to pick up the movie, even though I was preordering BATB ($10 off) and had the $10 Disney coupon, so the amount owed should have been $0.

So after 20 min of trying to get the promo, gc and Disney coupon to ring up, the supervisor gets the assistant manager, who tells me that I can't use the Disney coupon because the coupon says it can't be combined with any other offer. But, they wouldn't let me use the TRU $5 off of $25 either...grrr.

I finally gave up and nicely asked for my preorder deposit to be refunded so I could take my coupon and go to Target.

I should have just gone to Target in the first place, it's about 5 min away and TRU is 20 min. So I guess I learned my lesson the hard way! I will be getting BATB and TS3 from Target or Walmart....anywhere but TRU!

My Target only had one copy left, the one with the hair clips for $26.99, but I didn't want to deal with it anymore.

But they do have a few older Disney movies on sale-I saw Pete's Dragon and Bedtime Stories, not sure what else.

At least dd was happy when I gave her Tink to her!

ETA: Only now did I see the other similar thread with the link for a $5 Target coupon when you buy Tink on Blu-ray. I guess I will be be going back to Target if I can find the receipt. Here is the link if anyone else wants it (post #47):

PrincessMama -- i agree it is totally ridiculous with TRUS b/c I was able to get the following at TRUS (took about 20 minutes to figure out but there was a wicked storm so I had to wait anyway):

1) Pricematch to Target's $22.99
2) $5 off $25 (I purchased a Pillow Pet, too)
3) B&B Promo of $10 off
4) Disney coupon $10 off

In the end I paid $17 for a Pillow Pet (regularly $20), $1.40 in Taxes and $5 pre-order for B&B. The Tink BR/DVD ended up being entirely free.

There is another thread on Tink and all the troubles that everyone had at TRUS, so you are not alone.

I just called TRU main customer service on the price match issue. They do not price match at TRU (only at Babies R Us). It never hurts to ask at your store, but don't be surprised if they won't match Target. Still a good deal if you can get the gift card/coupon scenarios to work. Heading over there today.
