Here's a silly question on the Extra Magic Hours...

Disney states that the Extra Magic Hour is an extra hour in the morning or "up to three hours" in the evening.

I can't for the life of me find a schedule that states whether the Extra Magic Hours nights are for 1, 2 or 3 hours. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this? Is it 3 hours during the high season and only 1 during the low season? As an FYI, I'm heading to Disney August 23rd-29th.

Everytime we have gone in Aug. the hours have always been 3 hrs after park closing. The morning time is 1 hour before regular opening.

The "up to 3 hours" is just legalese wording, to cover their corporate butt just in case for whatever reason they ever decide to shorten the hours. Evening EMH is 3 hours. You can take that to the bank.
