After the mouse exercised their ROFR and took back (which I know they would) my first attempt to purchase a stripped BLT resale contact (160, $130, 0/0/160), I just made another offer at BLT (not stripped: 200, $145, 0/112/200) which the buyer accepted.

It is a double edge sword. If Disney did not buy back contracts then people would sell them at much lower rate thus losing the integrity of the product. We want to keep the price per point high so we have value in what we purchased. On the other side of the coin we also want to get the best deal we can when purchasing resale contracts. It is best to find a happy medium between too low and too high which I think is what I did with this current offer.

So now we wait...again. °O°

I'm on 2nd attempt too. Broker advised contract was sent to Disney this morning. I was advised at 2 weeks and a day about the last contract being ROFR'D. Let's hope for pixie dust and quick review process!!!

Well that’s just the thing... one drives such a good bargain that the mouse says “ohhh thanks I’ll take that!” I feel like I’m working for the mouse and should get a commission since I did all the leg work. Haha!

$130 is pretty much a guaranteed buy back at BLT. $145 is in the near "safe zone". Good luck! I had two AKV ROFR'd for me in July. Trying again now at $113.
