We checked into PPH yesterday. We were welcomed with a complementary room upgrade from a standard room to park view. At check in my son got birthday balloons, and a birthday button. We hit the parks from about 11:30 am until around 9:00pm, then made the walk back to PPH. When we arrived at our room my son was again welcomed with a birthday card that had an autographed picture of Mickey and Minnie as well as a birthday cake towel animal, Disney character chocolates on the pillows and three mickey shaped rice crispy treats with chocolate dipped ears.
We have had a fabulous time this far and still have two more full days in the parks! Halloween screams is fantastic, as is space mountain. The crowds have been on the heavy side, however we have not waited more then 30 minutes for any ride. We even got onto space mountain with a 20 minute wait with out using fastpass which after visiting WDW the past two years makes the wait seem like nothing.

We went today and found the park to be less crowded than we had anticipated. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip! :)

How exciting to be there AND all the fun extras! We are checking in next week for my boys birthdays, and I hope they know it when when we check in too!!

Excellent report. :thumbsup2

Nice to hear you're getting some pixie dust. :)

A couple of questions:

- How does the PP compare to the WDW lodging that you've stayed at?

- Have you been using the GCH route (to walk to DL in the morning & from DCA for an afternoon break)?

- Has your DS done Jedi Training yet? :darth:

Have a great time.

We are home, had a great trip however dh got sick with the stomach virus on Wednesday and missed the entire day in the parks, he was better the on Thursday however late Thursday night after the Trick or Treat Party, my son and I came down with the virus as well. :(

Excellent report. :thumbsup2

A couple of questions:

- How does the PP compare to the WDW lodging that you've stayed at? I would have to say that even though PPH was nice, it does not compare to WDW lodging. The pool was really just a basic pool aside from the water slide that closes at 7pm (which is park hours for us). I would stay there again in a heart beat, but really enjoy the resorts at WDW more.

- Have you been using the GCH route (to walk to DL in the morning & from DCA for an afternoon break)? Yes we used the GCH route. Really easy and not far at all. We also used the DTD route which was a tad longer, but we needed to go to the WDW Travel office near DLH.

- Has your DS done Jedi Training yet? :darth: My son did not do the Jedi Training.

Have a great time.
