We did MK this morning. Prepark ADR, rope drop at Fantasyland ( what a joke ), couldn't swap out our later FP+ for Splash mountain at 10:00am. They were all gone. My morning was spent checking my phone for FP+. I'm over it. My vacation shouldn't be so stressful. Every ride had much longer than usual times, because of FP+. We managed Pooh, TLS, Dumbo, IaSW, HM, A&E (11:15fP), POTC and out of the park at 12:30pm. To me that's awful. I'm done after this trip.

Sorry to hear it's going so horribly for you.:sad1: How long are you staying there? Is it because it seems overly crowded or is FP+ just screwing things up?

Sounds like you did quite a bit for the morning. Did you have any fastpasses left? Touring Plans is showing Splash Mt as a posted 35 min wait currently.

I feel your pain. We haven't used fp+ yet..our trip is mid/end May. It stinks! I don't want to plan where we will be and at what time! We have a 2 yr old.... we have to be flexible. :(

7 attractions, a table service meal and assorted wandering in 4.5 hours? Sounds pretty productive to me.

I'm sorry you've had a bad morning. I'm looking at MDE right now and there's a lot of rides with 10-30 minute waits, which doesn't sound too bad to me. And 7 rides in 3.5 hours actually sounds really good. Are you going back later this afternoon?

We've never managed more than 6 or 7 rides in an entire day. i'm not sure what the problem is?

Not sure I understand the problem. You have a fp for splash but couldn't change it to an earlier time? Looks like you only used 1 fp. You must have 2 others you could use later?

I remember going to wdw b4 fastpass and as a kid just being there was awesome including waiting in the lines. Fastpasses are a bonus wether they are paper or virtual.

I'm confused. What were you trying to swap your later Splash FP for an earlier one? Of course a late morning/early afternoon FP wouldn't be available for Splash at 10:00am.

And if I understand this correctly, you did 6 attractions before 11:15? Or at least 7 in 3 hours and you only used one FP? Perhaps had you made your other FPs for 10am and 12pm, you would have been able to do 9 attractions in 3 hours?

I guess I didn't understand what more you wanted to do or expected to be able to do. Sounds like a decent morning to me....

I hate when I have a full breakfast, go on 6 rides and meet Anna and Elsa all before 12:30 pm! What a terrible day :rotfl2::badpc:

I'm sorry you're having a crappy vacation :(. Do you usually travel during the slow season? We usually go during the busiest times (spring break & Christmas) and that's not half bad for a morning at the MK. I can understand why you would be frustrated if you're used to being able to walk-on to everything. FWIW, I am not a FP+ fan and we went on a non-Disney cruise for Spring Break instead of WDW because of it.

You posted two days ago about Hanna's and how you were "done". Now it's fp+ fault...

It sounds like you actually got more done than I ever accomplished in that time span.

OP: what time of the year do you normally go? To me, this seems like you had a great plan and got a lot done!!

I'm sorry your vacation is stressful. I completely understand your feelings. As you can already see, some people won't and will say it is somehow your fault you're feeling stressed. It can't possibly be the limitations Disney has set in place.

I hope you're able to make the best of your remaining days. :)

You did not use two FP+s and posted at noon that you were done at 12:30.

It seems you were made you could not have another time for a FP+ that was exactly when you wanted it. Under FP-, if you pulled a FP- for 5 pm and it was 10 am, you could not just "move it " to ride at 10 am.

Somebody who has three trips planned in a 5 month period is not a newbie. Most likely an AP passholder.

Not so much "her fault," but maybe some clarification on what she expected to be able to do instead? It appears that most people agree that 7 attractions in 3 hours is pretty good?

I don't get it either? For a few hours in the park it seems like you did a lot. Not sure how that equates to the magic being gone because you couldn't get one FP switched to an earlier time?

I've had plenty of trips with the old system where we didn't ride something because FP was gone and the wait was too long. Its a bummer but surely nothing that would have ever had me thinking the magic was gone and I wouldn't go back. I've seen so many of these types of posts and I just don't get it.:confused3

*sigh* If you're referring to me, I don't know how many times I need to repeat I HAVE used FP+.

Maybe I need to add a signature that says exactly that. :surfweb:

Nope. 4th post in. Not you. Not sure why you would have thought it was you either.
