Here now! The Halloween decor is amazing! Crowds & heat...not so great

Over Jere at DCA we ride tsm with 10 minute waits 3x. Screamin is about 10 min. GET is down completely, and screamin FP machines are broken.

You know, wait times haven't been that bad (with the exception of SM, HMH and Splash). It just seems to be a lot of people walking around. I think they should be out of FP's for SM. We got ours at noon with a return of 8:45 so...

The Edelweisse (sp?) Cottage wasn't open yet this morning, there were a few guys still working on it. By the way...where can you buy Tinkerbell Twists?

I think I remember Albort reporting that the ODV's were getting rid of the Tinkerbell Twists.

I asked a cm in April and they don't have tinkerbelle twists any longer. They have frozen apple juice, blue raspberry and cherry. Sorry.

Back in our room for the night- baby wouldn't let us close the park down!

Ghost Galaxy was amazing. We had FP's and did child swap. I waited maybe 10 mins and DH hopped right on after me! The effects on the roof of SM are very freaky/cool. You must sit and watch it. It does some really neat things every few mins or so.

We didn't watch the fireworks because crowds were insane but we happened to walk in front when Zero and the moon came up. Wow. Again: Disney did an incredible job. Zero looked like a real ghost! I can't wait to watch them in their entirety on Sun night.

That's a bummer about Tinkerbell Twists. I thought I saw people drinking them but I guess it was just frozen lemonade with flavor shots.

Edelweiss Snacks is now open and serving corn on the cob, chimis, turkey legs, and drinks.

I treated myself to a candy corn sugar cookie. Yum!

Space Mountain Ghost galaxy FPs were gone by 12:30pm / 1pm-ish (???). Around 8:00pm the wait was over an hour and a half. People were camped out for fireworks starting as early as 5pm. (I sooo don't get that!)

I was mostly wandering around taking photos of Halloween decor and pin trading, so no idea on other wait times.

It was really weird weather today. We don't get muggy weather much in So. Cal, but it was super muggy today. Yuck!

Oh, I know some of you out there love stuff like this so I just thought I'd share that there is a new Halloween map out and I bought yummy, delicious, Disneyland pumpkin muffins on my way out. Cant wait for breakfast!

No clue if people want pictures or if that's going to spoil something for someone so.... let me know. I've got them if you all want to see DLR at Halloween.

I am so glad you got to get over there - we will be there after Halloween is over (on November 3) - I would love to see your pictures - and if I were there, I would buy you a pumpkin muffin (sounds delish!)

We got FP for SM yesterday at about 1 with a return time of 11:15. I don't know why DH even pulled them- we were all sleeping by 8!

Hoping to hit MM in an hour if the kids wake up- we'll do space then or hopefully get FP for later. I kind of want DH to ride it before we take the kids on.

Now if everyone would just wake up....

So if people getting a fast pass for space mountain are seeing return times of 8:30 pm or after, does that mean that they can't get a fast pass for anything else that day until 8:30 pm. I'm trying to recall how FPs work and I thought you can't get one for another ride until the time has passed for the one you currently have.
If you have a FP for DL can you not get one for a ride in DCA? We'll only be there for a 1 day visit to both parks.

No. If you get a Space FP at say 12:00 and the return window is 8:30-9:30 you can get a FP for anything else after 2 hours - so at 2PM - and you cannot get another Space FP until its window opens - so at 8:30PM. But all the Space FPs will be gone by then.
