Been here for 8 days, and have 4 more to go.

Just wanted to update that holiday pricing definitely ended yesterday, but along with that is the normal January price increase we have seen the past few years.

We had a fab time at Cape May- awesome food, service and incredible character interaction! Donald sat at our table for 10 mins and played with the kids, despite a full restaurant!

Had an ok time at new Tusker House character lunch as it took 40 mins to be seated taoday for our 12:20 ADR. This resaturant always runs late, and today was no exception. Food was great, as always!

Cape May - breakfast

$24.99/adult plus tax
$12.99/child plus tax

**Increase of $2.00/adult. All 4 of us was $80 plus tip. **

Tusker House - breakfast, lunch & dinner

Breakfast

$24.99/adult plus tax
$13.99/child plus tax

Lunch

$25.99/adult plus tax
$14.99/child plus tax

Dinner

$28.99/adult plus tax
$14.99/child plus tax

Also walked by Crystal Palace several times yesterday, but couldn't get a photo of menu board as people were in front.

Hope this info helps, as I'm sure it will be awhile before websites update, which is why I started my buffet pricing thread last January.

Hope this helps, Tiger

Tiger, you are our once again buffet price guru. Thanks for the input.

So you aren't on the dining plan? Thanks for the heads up.

Nope, no DP for us.

We eat most meals in our DVC villa, but eat out a few times.

We use DVC/AP discounts now, but used TIW for years, when we ate 2-3 TS meals per day.

Thanks for the info. We are going to pass on the dining plan as well but will have a few table service meals, including 'Ohana and Cape May, so it's good to know the prices. Couldn't see how we come out ahead under the dining plan, especially in light of the price increase.

Good for you for doing your research.

Disney is in charge of a never-ending cycle of price increases. They raise prices for snacks and meals, in order to match the DP.

Creates an artificial sense of value for the guest.

We have been pretty much the only guests who are not on the DP, and you know this as CMs now ask when you check in, sometimes as you are seated, and again when ordering.

Happy eating, Tiger

had to look up this thread to see which other prices you listed - thanks for starting it! It's hard to find accurate up to date info -and it;s easier to make decisions when you are not guessing on prices

Will the prices go up even further if we are going in the summer/peak season? You mentioned holiday pricing but wasn't sure if they also increased for high/peak season as well...

Yup, $4.00 plus tax/adult, and $2.00 plus tax/child.

Last week's price increases are just inflation costs (according to Disney).

Holiday surcharges are something else entirely, so you can pretty much add the prices I mentioned above to those listed and you will get an approx. holiday price.

Disney does not list nor publish holiday dates, but I discovered them using research while working out meals with Disney Dining.

They are usually: spring break/Easter (March through end of April), summer (June - first week of August), US Thanksgiving and Christmas/NYE.

Hope this helps, Tiger
