Here now...man it's packed!

Seemed like the week (especially Thursday) was much less crowded, as expected. I would almost say to try to go Wed or Thurs to catch some relief, if you can. And of course, Fastpasses are your friend! :D

Yes it was crowded! Lots and lots of school groups. Longest wait of the day for me was Soarin', understandably, since they've been opening on the weekends only. I specifically chose Friday bc I knew Soarin' would be open. Still had a nice time and was able to do things out of order which can be a lot of fun! The Zootopia preview is very good!

Disneyland was packed today. We got on everything by utilizing FP but it was so crowded it was hard to get around! Lots of traffic jams! The morning was nice til about 11. It's 930 now and we got a great spot for the 10pm PTN parade. Seems lots of people are leaving now.

A crazy day at DL is still better than any other day!!!

I was there for most of the day. Most of the School and Tour Busses
emptied out of the Mickey & Friends lot by mid-afternoon.

Also a "seedy" convention going on at DLH

Totally intriguing to hold a seed convention at Disneyland. Low key to boot. Yes, the sppnsors list is interesting. Its like one of those conferences you see on Frontline programs. All hush hush.

Yes. Am surprised there were not any protesters.

I would be extremely surprised if protesters showed up honestly. Anyway - not to derail this...

I'm guessing part of the crowd situation is that people looked at the weather for Sunday and shifted plans. Thing is - I think there still must have been something special with Friday as Disney had slightly longer hours Thursday than usual. Anyway - heading out to CA in two days, weather looks perfect. Hope the crowds are as manageable as predicted.

We went Saturday, got to the park around 10 and stayed until 11:30 with a break for hotel/nap. Sunday was perfect - even with the rain! We went for a few hours Monday morning. The lines for security and park entry were longer than Friday.

We usually go after Thanksgiving and I also think the park is always busy now. We had a blast for our first January trip!

I have found longer lines and a busier feel on a 10AM opening to an earlier opening time. More people are able to make it all at the same time rather than it being staggered from 8AM onward.

Oh I agree! They also only had 2 of the security tents open, rather than 3, from Harbor.

I have even found when the lines are long, you go through pretty fast, it's almost a bit scary how fast when you think this is about security!!
