I know it's early in the morning but we have an early start with a Parisian breakfast at 9:00 at Chefs de France. Did MNSSHP last night and had a great time.

The magic bands have been working really well so far. Test Track was down on Thursday and we had FP+ for 1:00. Received a message offering fast pass at another attraction but we just went and ate and drank at the F&W until we gave it another shot and got on right away. Our linked APs gave us no problem even with renewing and originally linking the confirmation numbers. Spoke to a cast member at guest relations when I renewed TIW and he said on the magic bands have been working really well but when they go down it turns into a big problem. The problems are the communications between the resorts and the parks.

Weather has been hot for this time of year but who cares. Sitting on the balcony at BCV, looking at the top of Spaceship Earth. F&W Is great. My DH is already asking how many kabillion points it would take to stay for an indefinite length of time. I wish!!!!

There is no place like home and I love when they say "welcome home!" It's good to be home!

Parisian breakfast great and we just tried to delay going out in the pouring rain so a few more mimosias later ,realized the rain was not letting up so we headed to Spaceship Earth. Still poured. Headed to MK and the Disney magic took over and the rain stopped for rides, Wishes, Electric Light Parade. We also took the launch over to GFV to check that out. The rooms are spectacular. A couple of drinks later, we headed back to MK for rides. We had a blast.

Sunday was AK. Weather is a bit cooler so a lot of animals out. Festival of the Lion King was packed. Highly recommend FP+ for safari. We got right on but standby was 1 hour or more. Monday was DHS. Beauty & the Beast show was packed to the rafters. We used the magic band for toy story mania. The wait said 105 minutes but there was no one on the line. We were on in 10 minutes. Still can't figure out why they are discontinuing Beauty and the Beast show.. Headed to EPCOT around 4 and ate our way around the world AGAIN! Went to the Hanson concert and had more fun watching the crowd.

Today is a day of DTD shopping. This is where the magic band can become dangerous! Lunch at Fulton's for stone crabs and then Fantasmic tonight.

Magic bands have given us no trouble at all. I thought they would be uncomfortable but they really are not. Park entrance and fast pass does move a bit quicker. The sun is out and is a beautiful day. We have seen quite a few Orlando sherrifs around and Disney police at all the parks. We were leaving AK the other night and they were unloading a dog from the back of the police car. Better safe than sorry. Crowds are heavier but don't know if that has something to do with Jersey week plus a lot of foreign travelers.

We are at the half way point of our 11 day trip. Have the take it all in. Boy, do I love being "home"!!!!!!!!

Yep. Saturday mornings during F&W. It was great this year. I am assuming Disney will follow the trend and and raise the price and cut the free flowing mimosas next year

The Parisian breakfast was held on Saturdays during F&W. $37 per person. A bargin in Disney terms. There were ham and cheese sandwiches on French baguet, selection of cheeses, meats, croissants, coffee, cappacino, hot chocolate, tea but the best was unlimited mimosas. I said the same thing about they will bring it back next year, higher price, limited mimosas. It was packed. It is just DH and myself so they sit you at a table for 6 but the two other couples we were with were really nice. Not rushed at all and the servers were very attentive.

A lot of construction at DTD. Parking lots from pleasure island all the way to the end of west side are gone with construction going on. Green walls detouring you from Raglan Road to the old Pleasure Island. Captain Jack's is closed. Had a great day and finished it off with Fantasmic.

Today we are going to the "dark side" at Universal. Always beat DH at Men in Black! Will do Harry Potter. Love that ride.

Do you mean that you went back to TT prior to 2:00 (assuming your window was 1-2) and it was back up and you used your FP+ or did you come back after 2:00 and they still honored your FP+?

When we originally went and the ride was down, we asked the cast member if our FP+ Would be honored when the ride started running again and he said absolutely. We found out that the ride had been down since 9:00 a.m. (Was not operating since opening). We heard the ride around 4 and headed over and had absolutely no problem getting on - and we were riding in under 20 minutes! Our FP+ was from 1-2.

We did arrive late at AK for primeval whirl and could not get on because the stand by was really long.
