Arrived here yesterday around noon. Traveling w/ another couple and the staff was able to put us on side by side sites!! Check in was a breeze due to online check in. We are on the 100 loops and the sites are nice. Everyone was surprised about the creek behind us! So far, so good. My site is a little tight for my 28' camper, but it's big enough for what we need, was just a little tight backing I'm around the curve in the road. I'll post pics when I get the wi-fi set up good. Just waking up for day 2...it's hot and we are taking our time. The fast pass system is working out great so far. We did EMH at HS last night and it was great. The new Frozen fireworks is great too. Well, that's about all for now. Thanks to all who share on this board cause it helps the new guy like me a lot!!!

That is awesome! The FW CM's are some of the best around. They want you to be happy and do their best to get you a site that works for you and your family! Have a fabulous trip!

Glad you made it in safe and sound. Looking forward to hearing some more about your trip.

Feed a squirrel for me will ya...

Glad you made it safe and are side by side, couldn't be better!!!! Enjoy your stay.

We stayed in the 100 loop next to the VIP cabins. The site itself was a little small especially parking the tow vehicle and keeping it on the pavement. Other than that..... we love the 100 and 200 loop. Proximity to the Settlement, marina and Trails End is hard to beat. Also recommend watching the MK fireworks from the beach. The reflection of the fireworks on the water is pretty cool.

Have an awesome time. I am jealous. We won't be at the fort (Staying) until June of 2016, but we are going to be at the POP in November 2015. We may "Pop" over to FW and have a meal at the Trails End. (Love the dinner Buffet there).

Thanks all, we just returned home last night. The trip was amazing and we still didn't get to do all the at Fort has to offer. We loved camping there and plan to go back one Christmas in a few years. One thing we will be doing more is cooking more at the camper. It is a really money saver for families!!

I did walk around and looked at some of the all paved sites and I think I will be getting one of those next time. And by then I'll be a little more comfortable backing and maneuvering my camper. This was only our 3rd trip with it.

Scupper is too modest. I've met him in person and talked with him and I have to tell you. He is a great Cast Member.

I've shown this picture before but it's true - He is The Most Interesting Man in the World.

The latest commercial I saw this weekend says it all.

"If he were to mispronounce your name, you'd feel compelled to change it"

"Therapists open up to him"

"He skips the first date"

"He is the most interesting man in the world"

Helmet tap to TRS and all your fellow Fort CM's.

Bama Ed

"He once parallel parked a train"

"Mosqitos refuse to bite him simply out of respect"

"He speaks French...in Russian"

The CM are really great. I haven't met "The" yet, but intend to this October.

I have talked with the DW about maybe taking a trip to the "Ocoee parking lot Bluegrass jam session" during our August visit to the Fort. Maybe "The" will be there and I sill be able to say "Hi" in person.
