Wow! We made it! Crowds at MK are high but bearable. Actually had to wait to get on the Peoplemover. Sitting in CoP right now to cool off. FP's for SM return time 3 hours away. Loving being home where I belong!

Riding on the railroad. Just met a lovely pair of young ladies who turned 6 on 6/7 from Kansas :) Several CM's have wished us happy anniversary! I got most of the previous trainload of folks to wave at us from the walkway from Tomorrowland to the New Fantasyland station. More people should take advantage of that semi-shortcut. Heat is bearable and there is a nice, light breeze.

We did the Peoplemover twice, CoP, Buzz, SM, BTMRR, HM, iasm, the big train, and POTC. Supper at Cosmic Ray's. POTC and iasm were both walk-on's, got FP's for the mountains. Monorail in, ferry out. Crowds were only awful on Main St leaving right after the parade before the fireworks started.

Our family loves reading trips as they are happening. We wish we were "home" too. We love Disney. Our family loves Buzz we go on it continuously.

Enjoy your time there. :cool1:

We're in the FP return line right now and I'm seeing something ahead of me that looks suspiciously like an abuse of the GAC. One child appears validly in need and her associated adults are very appropriate. However, there is a woman leading a few others who are interacting the way strangers do, and she's conducting like a tour. It just looks off.

Test Track went down before we could use our FP's so we diverted to UoE. We had lunch at Coral Reef and had a lovely table right next to the glass! And since we are celebrating our first anniversary (and wearing the buttons) we were surprised with a complimentary dessert! Yummy yummy Baileys & Jack Daniels mousse. We've done Soarin' twice and also had to visit Figment (of course since he's my favorite). Now in WS, done with Mexico, in line now for Maelstrom. Crowds not too bad. It's very humid and we've had a few rain showers off & on.

Thunderstorm moving in. A lot of lightning and thunder. It's cutting the heat and we're prepared with umbrellas AND ponchos! Snack at Germany (black forest cake) after a shopping side trip to China (gift sent home for DS13). Again have to mention the crowds just are not that bad. Yes it's a June weekend day, yes it is crowded, but not elbow to elbow unpleasant.

We're back to our room now. Doing the rope drop does give the advantage.

Special activities today included pick-a-pearl in Japan :) Got a lovely 7.5mm and a 7mm and had them set in a horseshoe charm and ring, respectively.

Photo op with Duffy. Figured out the purpose of adding a stand-alone character like that to the roster. It's to compete with Build A Bear.

Animal Kingdom today. EE first thing, standby line and FP. Standby only about 5 mins but had to wait til 9:45 to ride again. Of course my motion sick tendencies kicked in at the end of the 2nd ride so I'm chillin' for a few minutes to get my tummy back. Headed to Dinosaur now.

Lunch at the Flame Tree while we wait on FP return for the safari. My favorite seating area has become quite popular and I'm sad :( used to be we could sit down here pretty much any time of day and maybe two other tables would be taken.

Crowd levels quite managable at almost high noon.

Have a great day at AK! Hope you see FOTLK! My DNephew is usually in it-but he's off today.

Thanks for the reports.:goodvibes

I LOVE the Lion King show. It's super amazing, so incredible. We had to cut our AK day off a bit due to needing a nap before our anniversary celebration tonight, so did not see it today, but will later in the week.

I HAD to nap. Then we took the resort launch over to DTD for a quick recon...now it's time to shower & dress for the Poly and Wishes from the beach.

We're at the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian resort. And oh my goodness it's very crowded. So far the food is good (sushi roll for me, shrimp for him as appetizers).

At MK today. We did make opening show :-) just been go-go-going all day! BTMRR was late opening due to not coming online right away so we started with SM after getting a FP for BTMRR. Then we did standby AND our FP return back to back! Jungle Cruise, Tiki Room (which I like so much more now "classic" is back), Country Bears, Tom Sawyer Island for the "Becky" painted fence (my name is Rebecca). Lunch at Pecos Bill's and a shocker there, CM's are wrangling the seating at least during high volume. Not allowing incomplete groups or non eaters to sit inside. Will add more later!

Two torrential rainstorms today. Funny how somehow every person suddenly fits under a roof and the walkways are totally open but when it stops there's no room anywhere. ;)

Tomorrowland Terrace is open for counter service, my first time eating there EVER. Chicken alfredo. Yummsville.

The photopass photogs are being particularly magical. All of them are taking multiple shots & angles.

Reminder: If you see something you like in one location, don't think it's going to be available somewhere else too.

CM's are staying on point with FP return times but I haven't gone past time yet to test. Just notice other interactions.

Several larger groups around in matching shirts but no seething mobs.

Extremely, almost oppressively humid.

The Bf was one of the featured audience members on the Laugh Floor! Blueberry guy, he got named, and he was the "no way" cue. He loved it :)

Note: The heat and humidity are taking a toll. Florida in June was not my best idea.

HS opened early. We got here around 8:30 am, parked, and processed right through with all the other cattle...erm, people. I went for FP's for TSM and therefore got locked out of the system until nearly 11 am. Sent Bf to ride ToT and figured we could do RnR. Wrong. By the time he was off ToT the standby line was 70 minutes. We bailed into a shop for the a/c

It took 30 minutes from the time I paid for our lunch, til we were given our trays. THIRTY MINUTES. And that does not include the time it took to stand in the line to get to the cashier. I was close to crying, it was so awful. Please note, do NOT eat inside the noon hour window!!!

HS was kind of a bust. Just too hot and too many people. We did our 1:45 FP on RnR and bailed out.

Enjoyed a SeaRacer (small boat) around the Sassagoula River area...until a storm blew up and we got escorted back to the marina by WDW coast guard! No complaints though, I'd rather not be struck by lightning on vacation (or at all).

Since we got stuck by the storm at Riverside we decided to eat here tonight and I am so glad we did. Super yummy make-your-own pasta!

We're waiting now for a carriage ride. There's a black Percheron here named Doug and a Belgian (don't know his name yet). Turns out someone I once worked with at Biltmore used to work here!
