The Entertainment discount is not available in the Orlando area to Disney members. I discovered that there were some data issues on the site last week that allowed this to show up on Disney's site. When you booked at Hard Rock did you identify yourself as a Disney/Entertainment member? Did they give you discounted price? Normally, a hotel like that in an attraction area will have very limited availability. I would be surprised if they booked the reservation at a discounted rate. I would check your reservation to make sure that they are giving you a discounted rate and that you get a copy of the confirmation sent to you in advance. I would hate to see you get there and have a problem.

So that I would not have a problem, I did purchase the Entertainment 2001 book.

Cora,
Thank you so much for clearing this up. It seems there were several mistakes by entertainment we have now learned.

1. There were suppose to be vouchers in the entertainment book for Orlando hotels. There aren't. As of now, it appears HRH and PBH will accept the Entertainment Card w/out a voucher.

2. The DCs'and Entertainment "data issues" on their websites wrongfully implied you can use a DC card at HRH.

I have to agree with you Cora,I will buy the new entertainment book.

I remember reading on here in the fall about vouchers and I never knew what anyone was talking about since I buy the Entertainment book every year and knew no vouchers were ever in the books.

In addition, the Disney Club Entertainment feature was never good in Anaheim or Orlando. I was surprised to hear that there was a misunderstanding over this.

But I've gotten my money's worth with my Entertainment Card many times over. It's definitely worth it.

As far as the entertainment book discount, do I have to buy a Orlando Entertainment book or will my local Wisconsin Entertainment book work? Thanks all!

Any Entertainment card/book will work except the Disney Club one! ;) It does not have to be the Orlando one. So buy the one you can use the most.
