Let me know what you think. We are a party of 9. DH, I and our 2 kids DD4 DS1.5, my parents and my brother and his two kids, nephew 10 and niece 7. They are flying from OH. We currently live in FL but are moving to VA next month. We are passholders currently so frequent Disney, but have not done to many ADR's. My brother went to Disney last year. So this is his 2nd time with his kids.

Sunday:Arriving in Orlando late(we are driving from VA). No dining at Disney today.
Monday: Dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe
Tuesday: Dinner at Akershus for Princess Storybook dinner.
Wednesday: Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, Dinner at Cape May
Thursday: Dinner at Chef Mickey's
Friday: Dinner at T-Rex.

Hello;

DS and I ate at 50's PrimeTime in May 2010.... it was my favorite meal of the day.... even over HBD....LOVED the Pot Roast !

I've been to Cape May about 4x for dinner.... albeit it was before snow crab legs .....but I never really thought of it as a "destination" dinner....we ate there because we were staying at Beach Club...

That being said ... I felt we got our $ worth.... everyone was full and found something they liked... Kids loved the boiled shrimp... I tried a little of everything ...they also have the standard carving station and Disney Garlic Mashed Potatoes.....ribs were good...the salad bar was good...there is a kids buffet as an option and the dessert buffet was nice...

Have a magical visit !

Mary

I love the Cape May Clambake! It has a big variety and all of the food is good. It is a must do on every trip for us.

I have only been to Akershus for lunch, the food was good. The only complaint would be the wait time even with a ADR.

The kids will love T-Rex! It is my DD(8) favorite! The food is good, but the atmosphere is great!

I have only had dinner at 1900 Park Fare, the character interaction was the highlight of the meal. No one in my party cared for the food. It was also very busy and we had to wait awhile even with an ADR.

Out of all our ADR's, cape may and chef mickeys are repeats. DH wants to do chef mickeys again for dinner and my dad cape may. The others are new for us . Last year my niece didnot get to see the princesses due to poor planning ( I wasn't part of the planning last year since dh and I were working and unable to take off.) But this year it will be planned.

50's Prime Time is great! We didn't get to go last trip so it is definately on our ADR list for our upcoming trip. Food was pretty good but the atmosphere is great. DH had the pot roast and that was the best meal at our table.

We did Akershus for breakfast. It was decent (food) but the princess interaction was great. Since we have done this one twice, we aren't going back this trip. But if you have a little girl who wants to see princesses up close and personal...this is the place! Don't forget your camera and autograph book for this one.

The only other one we have done on your list is 1900 Park Fare for breakfast. It took awhile for the characters to make their way around but it was by far the best breakfast buffet we went to. This one is on our list as well!!

Have a great time!!:goodvibes

You have some really great ADRs with that said....

- 50's Prime Time is really good and we usually go for dinner here. I really like the fried chicken and the Smore's dessert :cloud9:.

- We have only ever gone to Akershus for Breakfast (a must do for us) however, the princess interaction is awesome plus you get a nice photo that is included in your package.

- 1900 Park Fare Breakfast is great....love the food and love the characters there especially the Mad Hatter :rotfl:. As for Cape May Clambake we did this once (we were staying at BCV) and we thought it was really good. They have a very nice selection of foods there....we usually go there for the character breakfasts (another must do).

- DH and I are not huge fans of Chef Mickey's especially for dinner, both times we have gone there (did dinner and breakfast) our waitresses were non existent, the food was o.k., and the characters seemed rushed. However, our girls are really wanting to eat there on our upcoming trip so I am booking breakfast (better of the two)....thought I would not be giving this a try any time soon, but it seems CM is getting another chance.

- As for T-Rex, we have never been there so I can't comment on it.

Have a wonderful trip.
