Our DD is 3 and we are just now starting to think about our first family trip to WDW. As first time parents, we are anxious to do all the fun, family things with our DD, but feel like she would not retain any WDW memories if we went now ?

Hi! I have been reading the DisBoards for a few years. Our DD is 3 and we are just now starting to think about our first family trip to WDW. We are middle age, first time parents. GASP! We are soooo anxious to do all the fun, family things with our DD, but feel like she would not retain any WDW memories if we went now ??? ic!

well my DD went last year when she was 3.5 and over a year later, she still remembers just about everything! she still talks about it at least once a week; out of the blue she'll be like "Hey, remember at Disney World when we yada yada yada?" So I would say it's not too early to start planning. Anyways, she doesn't need to retain the memories FOREVER, only until her next trip. ;)
