Here are the girls - Myself Michelle, Sister Gill, my daughter Cheyenne age 9 and Gills daughter my niece Phoebe age 10. 9th March and Disneyland watch out - here come the girls. Had to get up at 5am for 7.50 flight. Arrived at CDG at 10.15 right on time. Our cases were first out and so off we set to find our driver. No sign of him and after waiting about 10 mins gave them a quick call to find they were waiting at the wrong terminal! Anyway, he soon turned up and we enjoyed the scenery on the way to the Santa Fe, only took about half an hour. There was a bit of a queue at check in but it was fast moving and the staff were really efficient. Our room was ready so we went to dump the bags and head to the park for lunch. 1pm and we were sat in Victorias home style restaurant eating croque monsieurs. Lovely theme in here and the toasties were yum( although Cheyenne found it too cheesy!)
Then The Girls hit discoveryland, buzz out of order this week so we headed for Honey i shrunk the audience for a welcome sit down as we were getting tired with the early start (with just a quick look at one shop - well it would be rude not to.) We then raced round autopia and made it in time to see the parade, just as the sun stopped shinning and the rain started.
After the parade we ambled down discovery arcade and caught up with the end of the parade and watched the princess float disappear before going back to the hotel to unpack. Then with a hop and skip we crossed the stream to the Hotel Cheyenne for dinner at the chuck wagon.
It was just about 6pm so not too busy yet so in we went and filled our plates with ribs and corn on the cobs etc, at the first station, only to turn round and see the starter table. Oh well, main course, first starter second, then DESSERT. The fruit flans were gorgeous - we totally over ate. We dragged our feet and fat tums back across the stream and to bed for an early night and early start tomorrow.
