We are in Western NC. We live in Candler right now but we are in the process of building in Leicester which is a part of Ashville.

Those are great luvindisney. It is really starting to take shape. Hopefully all the construction on the outside will be done soon so they can remove all the equipment from everyone's view while they do the inside work.

BTW, where are you guys in NC? We used to live in Wilmington before we moved back to SC where DW and I both grew up. All three of our DSs were born in Wilmington.

Well I really cannot say. It looks to me like that it is coming along very well but thats our fiirst time ever staying there or even spending any kind of time there except we were there to eat about 3 years ago.
I know that while we were there we did not hear any construction or see anything going on on the weekends. But they start bright and early through the week.

Love the pics especially the ones of baby Kidani!!

Just curious - how does the construction seem to be coming along?

Thanks for posting the pics!! It looks like they have come a long way with the construction since January when we stayed there! Don't you just love that savannah view? It's like nothing else. So glad we own there too!! We are returning to AKV in January and are taking family. I can't wait to see the looks on their faces! I just love the place!

Thanks for these wonderful pictures. We will be staying at AKV in Oct. for the first time. It is a beautiful resort. I can't wait to have my morning coffee on the balcony and watch the animals having their breakfast. Thanks for sharing.

I have 2 nights in a value next May, I hope to get such a view. This is better than what we had for Concierge. I didn't even begin to see this many animals.

We are in the very corner of SC in Oconee County, near Walhalla. You guys are only about 1.5-2 hours away. Asheville is a great place. DW and I are thinking about using points to stay at the Grove Park Inn in September for our 25th Anniversary.

Great pictures!

I've stayed in value villas twice, once a studio, savannah, and a 1 bedroom with pool view. The studio seemed smallish, even for just the 2 of us, but the 1 bedroom was very nice for 3.

I Love the Grove Park. It has not been to long ago that my DH had to do the floors in the locker rooms for the Spa. He does floor covering and I went both nights with him and just walked around and took it all in. It was just Wonderful.

It was definetely smaller than the others but it was DH and myself so it was not a problem. It felt big for us.

No it was not. It was a lockoff. We were located on the Ostrich trail.
