Since Easter will be here soon, I thought I would put some photos that I took last Easter into my on-line photo album. I spent the past two Easters at Walt Disney World with my family, and we had a wonderful time both years. These particular photos were taken at the BoardWalk Resort last year. I hope you enjoy them.

Janet, no we were not at BWV last year, although we are DVC members. We are getting ready for our next trip, next month at what I know is one of your favorite resorts, AKL. We stayed there last August and fell in love with the resort. I enjoyed reading about your trips and seeing your wonderful pictures. Thanks for sharing the magic!!

Hi! We are headed to WDW the day before Easter! We are hearing horror stories about the crowds. Any thoughts or tips on this? Also we thought we'd avoid the MK on Easter Sunday. We are all adults and would like to avoid the kiddie Easter stuff but would like to know which park would be the best to go to on Easter Sunday. Any ideas??? Thanks!

Just booked 2 nights at YC for Easter weekend (3/30-4/1). We're 3 adults and may not even enter parks. We've booked Emeril's for lunch Sunday. Anyone know what special events go on in the World ?

DisneyMim, have fun at the AKL. It is such a unique resort. I am glad to hear that you fell in love with it, too. There seem to be a lot of us Dis’ers who really enjoy that resort

WDWTrekker, have a wonderful Easter vacation. I envy you since I will not be there this year. I will have to live vicariously through you. Please give my best wishes to the Easter Bunny.

Caribri71, try not to fret too much. Yes, it will be busy, but that shouldn’t put a damper on your fun. And what do you mean by, “We are all adults and would like to avoid the kiddie Easter stuff?” Are you CRAZY?! You are going to WDW, after all, and that proves to me that you are a child at heart like the rest of us crazy folks here on the Dis (hee hee). Seriously, I think avoiding the MK on Easter Sunday would be a good idea. When we were there last Easter (or the Easter before), the MK theme park was shut down at one point due to crowds. Actually, they shut down the entrance to Main Street and routed us in through a backdoor entrance. That was during one of the evening parades. We had to hang out in Tomorrowland and wait until they opened up the bridge that connected Tomorrowland to Main Street. It was just my teenaged son and myself at that point, so we made the best of a not so good situation. I sent my son to get us some popcorn and soda pop, and I found us a park bench to park ourselves on. When he came back with our munchies, even though we weren’t anywhere near Main Street, we still could hear the evening parade’s music and we sat there and enjoyed some semi-quiet time, mother and son. It was one of those priceless moments that you can find if you just look for it. Since you already know that WDW will be busy during Easter, half your battle is won. If you find the crowds too much to take, change your plans immediately before you find yourself getting frustrated (nothing ruins a day quicker than some crowd frustration). You can always go back to your resort for a swim or a meal. You can also head over to a resort that has boats and rent one for a few hours. Boating on the lakes is really a lot of fun. There are lots of things to do that could keep you away from the theme park crowds in the middle of a busy day.

Kinlaw6450 & Gator Kate, oh, I see that the two of you are vacationing with WDWTrekker and Caribri71. I am now jealous of ALL of you! Have a wonderful Easter vacation. WDW is beautiful that time of year.

At Disney Studios:
Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade - 4:30 pm
FANTASMIC - 8:00 pm & 10:00 pm

At the Animal Kingdom:
Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade - 4:00pm
