My wife 'becomes upset' when I make two ADR's for the same day.

But she has come to learn that she'd prefer reservation times far apart, with the plan including a snack and/or idea that one of the meals would be small....because she'd rather be at a sit-down meal then waiting for qwik-serve.

Your first day includes 3-meals, 2 of them are set prices (CRT & Ohana). You can order virtually nothing at BoG for breakfast, so that kinda' fits my outline, but those other 2 meals (especially with a young children) would simply be too much food for my family. My two-cents: drop Ohana.

You're wasting your money at Biergarten with young ones too. The show is not 'special enough' to pay for the food they won't eat. Coral Reef is more relaxing (and a la carte pricing) or grab snacks in France.

You did it 'correctly' (by my outline) with a la carte at Skipper Canteen, followed by AP for dinner. But that's a long day for your kids going from Magic Kingdom to a 6pm dinner....especially if you are not staying at Wilderness (because resort-to-resort at Disney is an excursion).

HS-Day has 2 meals closer together. As much as I enjoy 50's Prime Time, they make a margarita to-go that makes dropping this meal seem appealing; most kids don't understand 50's Prime Time theming.

All-in-all, you have too much 'a good thing' and you knew that. And you also mentioned that you can more easily 'drop' some ADR's than 'add' some at a later date.

In other words, ya' did the right thing, but you'll be better off shortening your list after reading friendly advice and discussing the plans with your family. Also, you can make these decisions on a day-by-day basis, as long as you cancel unwanted ADR's before penalties are applied.

If we do more than one ADR in a day, we put them 7-8 hours apart. Even then, we have found that we aren't very hungry for the second meal. I don't eat meals this far apart at home, but I also don't eat as much in a single meal at home either.

Bon voyage breakfast was very filling. We did that at 10, and ate dinner around 7. We didn't eat snacks in between. The kids might have, but DH and I didn't. I can't imagine trying to enjoy biergarten - a buffet - after that.

Three ADRs on day 1 is way too much, and CRT and Ohana are way too close together. I'd definitely drop Ohana. Ohana is great, but it sounds like meeting princesses is the higher priority.

I’d drop both the BOG breakfast and ‘Ohana. Way too much for one day. i’d also drop 50’s Prime Time. It’s too close in time to lunch.

I agree about your first day, CRT and Ohana are way too close together. You have to figure nearly two hours for CRT by the time you check in, wait to be seated, and finish your meal. That would put you at about 2 PM. You would have to head out of the park less than 3 hours later to go to Ohana. Also, no way would anyone be hungry for a big meal.

I'm not sure where you are staying or if you plan any afternoon breaks, many of your days seem like they would be very long park days. If you have not been before, I would also suggest HDDR on one of your shorter park days. That is a must every trip for our family and great for all ages.

We have either afternoon breaks or late starts planned most days.

Day 1: break before Ohana.
Day 2: long day, kids do nap well in the stroller
Day 3: leave HS by 1:00 for break. Then Dinner at 5:30 and wife and kids go to bed, DD10 go to DAHMK.
Day 4: start day with brunch at TalF, twins and wife home after dinner. DD10 and I EMH.
Day 5: late start. Hit AK at 11:30 to noon.
Day 6: start at 10:30 Pirates League son, BBB daughter.
Day 7: Afternoon break. Return for QS dinner and FRZ Dessert party.
Day 8: Start at 11:50 lunch.
Day 9: Start with Breakfast at 10:20.

Twins are early risers so later starts won’t help a ton but they do nap well in stroller.

Where are you staying? CRT will take at least an hour, so you won't be done before 1:15. Unless you are staying at Poly, you need to plan on 1.5 hours to get to Ohana, which means you need to leave your room at 4. You will probably have less than 2 hours at your room. Also, you won't have a chance to do more than a couple of rides before lunch.

I think your break timing on day 3 is also tight. Depends on where you're staying, but you should leave for DS by 4 to make it to T-Rex.

Travel to and from the parks always takes longer than you think. Sure, sometimes you get to the stop just as a bus/boat arrives, but it doesn't always happen. Also, it takes time just to walk out of the park.

Day 8 looks like a lot of food close together. If you keep 50s look at sharing . On our visit we got a Caesar salad and the favorite platter ( the one with meatloaf , fried chicken and pot roast) to share. The entrees there are a good size and on the heavy side .

I would drop Ohana and 50 PTC.

My twins are also early risers, and good stroller nappers (although now they are too big and I have banned the stroller). I love being early to the park.
