I am curious if anyone has any experience with the Her Crowning Glory add on for Cinderella's Royal Table? And does a Photo Pass + photographer come up with the "Lord and Lady" to take pictures?

I didn't do the whole package, but on our family's first visit to WDW I ordered just the tiara for my DD. There was no Photopass photographer present (only downstairs for photos with Cinderella). Our server for dinner was the "lord" who presented the tiara on a pillow and made the "royal proclamation," and he brought it out with no notice so there wasn't time to snap a quick picture of her reaction - but we were fine with taking our own pictures after my DD put the tiara on.

Interesting. I wonder what the cost is, its not posted online. Ill ask when I call reservations again.

You'll need to contact Disney's Special Events group - the add-on cannot be booked over the Dining line.

WDW.CRT.Special.Events@disney.com or (407) 824-4477

Just to give you an idea, in April 2015 they offered a 3-inch tiara for $20 and a 5-inch tiara for $37, plus tax and gratuity. I don't know if or how much the price might have changed since then.

1) BoG is the only character event with a photographer INSIDE the restaurant.
. . . the picture is taken with the Beast, after you eat and as you exit
. . . the photographer does not circulate within the restaurant
2) All other character meals have the photographer outside, before you enter.
3) Photographers inside eateries take up too much character time, so they stopped taking these photos.
. . . people used to ask for a picture with each person and each character
. . . sometimes they wanted multiple poses for each person
. . . then, they would want a group photo with each character
. . . time got totally out of line
. . . people just got too greedy, and it spoiled it for everyone else **
4) The Crowning Glory is just another way for Disney to get more money by selling added trinkets (in my opinion)

** This is the came thing that happened to personalized menus at Coral reef, as well as having the aquarium divers make special greetings to guests. Greedy people simply ruined it for others. Now, no more diver notes from inside the fish tank, and those personalized menus are gone. (Some eateries do offer to print a note on the menu, such as "Happy Birthday", but no more menus with customized pictures and custom wording.)

Does 'Ohana no longer have a Photopass photographer inside the restaurant at breakfast that follows Stitch?

Just bumping this up, to ask what the tiaras are like - are they plastic cheapies, or is there something a bit special about them at all?

My DD's from CRT two years ago was nice - a metal headband-style tiara with what looked like rhinestones. It looked like this but without the pearls.

Funny thing, though, she got a nicer comb-style tiara from Senses at GF when we went there last spring for mani/pedis, and it was at no additional cost - it came included with the spa services (but we didn't know that until we got there - it was a nice surprise!). I actually like to borrow that one occasionally when we visit MK. ;)

Oh that is nicer than I thought it would be. Hmmmm. She is just on the cusp of being too old for some of these things, hard call to make really!

HI! I was wondering if you would know how this Tiara compares to the one that they get with the Princess Up-do at BBB? I don't want to double up on the same tiara. Thank you!

My DD didn't get the tiara at BBB, but the ones I saw (keep in mind, this has been a few years now) was definitely smaller than the ones we got at CRT and at Senses. They were still very cute, and a good size to accent a little girls' hairdo - but smaller for sure.
