I don't usually post on this board, but I need help with something that does not have to do with Disney directly. We just purchased a new Mini Cooper for my 16-year-old daughter(16 and 3 weeks old, to be exact!)and we were thinking of personalizing her license tag. NC has a limit of 8 letters/symbols, and she wants to use the word "mini" in it somewhere. Her name is Kayli, so "Kayli's Mini" is out. We will be delivering the check and ordering the tag in 2 hours, and I'm drawing a blank. What made me think of posting here was the realization that with a new car and teen driver to insure, my Disney trips may become a thing of the past...she's the oldest of 4 kids...I may NEVER see Mickey again!:faint: :faint: :faint:

Wow. I wish my parents had bought me a new car at 16. I got stuck with a 9 year old hyundai when I got my liscense. But it lasted. Personalized plates cost an arm and leg here in MA so I never got that either.

Kayli is lucky!

How About her initials K(her other initial) 's MINI

What about:

K Li Mini

Will they let you put the space in so it makes sense?

Great suggestion for spelling Kayli(K-Li is perfect!) She likes both yours and MonorailDude's suggestion; a combination of the two would be "MiniK-Li" which fits her, because she is petite(weren't most of us at 16?). Anyway, the car is red, with a white top and mirrors, but she didn't like my suggestion of "Li'l Red"(like the elephant at AK!). So far, she has nixed all suggestions that can be remotely Disney-related(like MiniMcky, Mickylvr, etc.).

My first new car was a Hyundai(back in 1986), and I paid for it myself. I'd be willing to bet it's still on the road somewhere! And yes, Kayli is lucky, and obviously spoiled! But she's a great kid and great big sister---very responsible. I hope the new car doesn't change that, or she'll be driving her Dad's 1996 Ford Ranger! And I'll be lookin' good in my new red car!
