i need to know if you can change tickets attached to a package reservation. I planned to do a split stay between on-site Disney and on-site Universal but now am only doing Disney. I had already gotten a package for the Disney portion but now need more days. Will I be abl to do this?

It’s for Easter week so I grabbed a room only when I saw it once the universal plans fell through. I have from 3/30 to 4/4 at pop then 4/4 to 4/7 at Movies

DO read the ticket thread with all the details about modifying tickets.

DO know prices.

If the tickets are part of a package, you can add days now, but you can ALSO wait to see if you truly do end up needing them.

Yes, you can call Disney to get it changed; when I had a package booked for last year, I changed tickets multiple times (switch from 5-day base tickets to 6-day hoppers to 8-day hoppers, to remove tickets altogether). However, it will end up being the new ticket prices, not the previous one, if you bought before the increases in February.

Tickets must be modified within 14 days of first use, AND can't be modified AFTER they are completely used up. The latest you can modify them while you are using the last day of entitlements.

The only other catch is that ticket prices went up in February. Again, see the rules posted in the ticket thread, and know what you SHOULD be paying for the extra days. If a CM gives you price that is too high, walk away and go to different Guest Services agent, if possible.

If you want to book FP for those days though, you should modify them now. If you aren't sure you'll go to park that day, waiting might be beneficial because tickets are non-refundable.

That said...Universal is also a great place to visit!

An advantage of on-site Universal is that unlike WDW, you haven't missed the 60 day FP booking window. If you stay at HRH, RP, or Portofino, you'll get Express all day with no pre-booking.
