I need advice, We have a party of 11 checking in Oct 1st. 2 of the 11 in our group now has some family that has decided to go to Disney during the same time frame, but they have made their own arrangements. Now, here's the tricky part the the 2 of the original 11 want to spend part of their vacay touring with the grand babies (which I'm perfectly fine with), but when I logged into my Disney acct today i noticed that while she was changing some of her fastpasses she or a Disney cast member accidentially took me off of our 7 dwarfs mine train fastpass. What should be a group of 9 says only 8 and when I view the details my name is not listed!!!!! I'm the one who made these fastpass reservations. I'm so disappointed!! I tried to get a fastpass for just myself, but of course nothing is available! Please tell me not all is lost, I'm panicking over here!

This is the main reason I hate friends and family. I finally agreed to be my DS friend but I think Disney needs more safeguards. Unless you are the person who arranged the FP+, you should never be able to change another person's FP+. Rant over.

First off, you need to let your friend/family know what happened and to please do not alter any other FP+ not theirs.

Second, do not panic. You only need one, you have plenty of time. Keep randomly checking, I am sure you will get. My DS goes often last minute and he has always gotten one - even on holiday weekends and never a problem day of.

Deep breaths.

Oh my, I hope you're able to get it fixed! Did you try the online chat feature and/or calling to see if they could do anything? When we went in 2014, the CM measuring the height of the children had hardcopy fastpasses which she gave us. I think she took pity on us because she saw my niece and overheard my brother and his wife discussing (well more like arguing lol) how it was getting late and the lines were still long. So if nothing else, as a last resort, I would just explain the situation to a CM and perhaps they can help you out.

There is an Option on the website regarding WHO can make changes/have access as we went with a large group and while people wanted to "see" we didn't want mistakes, just as you described happening. It worked out well and the CM at MK kiosk was Very helpful on a somewhat similar issue as you described.

I'd call Disney directly now, explain and they Should b able to help
and if not..
I would speak to a cm AT a FP kiosk upon arrival at park and they should be able to work it out for you. Pixie dust ur way ...
As an aside, I got our first AP this year and after 22 days of onsite stays/use, many of which were MK days, we were VERY disappointed in Not being able to secure Fastpasses for certain rides..( like mine train) on many occasions ... its a BIG part of the reason Why we will likely Not be renewing passes.

If you stayed on site, as long as you tried making your FP 60 days in advance, there should be no reason to give up your AP. It's not like having an AP gives you any kind of FP advantage.
