Hi I am new and well I am confused about how it says under my profile earning their ears.

What are you confused about? It just means that you're a new poster. (I think the only other level is DIS veteran, but I don't know how many posts you need to get it.)

Right. There are different captions that will appear as your post count increases. It doesn't have any deep meaning.

"Earning your ears" is dis-board speak for "dis-board rookie."

Welcome You can change it if you're unhappy with it. Go to "User CP" on the top left bar. Click on "Edit your Details" on the bar on the left. Under "Customer User Title" put in a different title.
