I have been making shirts all day and I am ready to pull my hair out. It is such a pain to get the back off the dark color transfers so you can iron them on. Does anyone have tricks to getting the back off???????:confused3

this was my only issue with making my shirts. was so sure I would wrinkle up the corner/edge. wish it was easier :wizard:

I would guess that it would be the same for all dark transfers. This is what I do/tell my customers...

Fold one corner of the paper and crease (obviously not where the design is printed)

Then fold the same corner in the opposite direction and crease

Then CAREFULLY tear the backing paper along the crease, making sure not to tear the transfer itself.

This should work like a dream. Keep us posted!

Should I do this first and then cut it out? I have been cutting it out first and then trying to get the back off. If I do it this way there is no where left to crease it. Ugggg!

I always do the pre-peel suggested in my directions BEFORE cutting out. If you peel to just past the design, then replace the backing and then cut, then after you have it cut out, it will easily peel apart. Does that make sense?
