What do you think of these dining resy's? I still have 13 days to call, but I'm sooo confused. My kids and hubby are picky and my mom doesn't like spices. So, that doesn't leave us many choices. haha We have the dining package with 1 snack, 1 counter and 1 sit down. We arrive on a Sunday around 8pm and leave the following Sunday. Flight leaves at 2:40pm.

M-Epcot-Garden Grill
Tu-MK-Chef Mickey's dinner
W-DD-Planet Hollywood
Th-HS-Hollywood & Vine
F-AK-Wispering Canyon after we leave
Sa-MK-Tony's Town Square
Su-Chef Mickeys for breakfast bright and early before we get the ME to head to the airport.

I really appreciate any advise/suggestions/comments. I'm sooo new to this and have no clue what we're doing.

Just a few suggestions...
*Personally, I love Garden Grill. They've changed their menu in the last couple of years though, and I'm not sure how picky your kids are, but the kids choices now are baked chicken, sweet potato fries and broccoli. If that will work for them, then definitely go for it. If not, I would suggest Coral Reef. Or possibly Cape May Cafe at Beach Club.
*If you have your heart set on Chef Mickey's for dinner, then by all means go for it, but I think you might find that one experience at Chef Mickey's per trip is enough. The character experience is great, but it's very loud and chaotic at times, and the food, while not horrible, is mediocre at best. Personally, I would choose breakfast over dinner. There are so many better options for dinner in or near MK. Or, if you really want a character dinner, have you considered Crystal Palace?
*Once again, Planet Hollywood is fine, but Raglan Road and Wolfgang Puck Cafe both havemuch better food (and nothing too exotic).
*Hollywood and Vine is the only one on the list that I would 100% recommend against. For anything other than breakfast the food is just gross. 50's Prime Time has great food, and is so much fun. Sci-Fi has ok food, but the atmosphere is fantastic. Both are better than H&V without question.
*I enjoy Whispering Canyon, and it's usually a lot of fun.
*Not a big fan of Tony's, but I'm Italian and am very picky about Italian food. If you enjoy Olive Garden, you'll probably enjoy Tony's. I definitely wouldn't tell you not to go.
*I would definitely pick Chef Mickey's for breakfast over dinner. If you do decide to keep the dinner though, there are some great (and relaxing) options for breakfast. 'Ohana and Kona at the Poly are both very good. 'Ohana has Lilo and Stitch:thumbsup2 And the Grand Floridian Cafe has one of the best breakfasts on property. Or, by all means, keep both Chef Mickey's. It's your vacation...have fun with it :goodvibes

I hope that helps and didn't just confuse you more.

M-Epcot-Garden Grill - I would try Tutto Italiano instead for your Italian meal
Tu-MK-Chef Mickey's dinner - I would change to 1900 Park Fare
W-DD-Planet Hollywood - As long as loud is okay, we actually have this on our choices
Th-HS-Hollywood & Vine - Never been we prefer any of the other restaurants, I think your best choice is actually Prime Time Cafe
F-AK-Wispering Canyon after we leave - I would keep this one
Sa-MK-Tony's Town Square - I would change to the Plaza, I wouldn't underestimate it, even if it doesn't give you the "bang" for your buck.
Su-Chef Mickeys for breakfast bright and early before we get the ME to head to the airport. - again, not the greatest for food, but definitely fits the last day fill of Disney. I would keep it.

My changes are in red. Make sure to look at menus. You can find them on this site, over at allears.net and also some are on Disney site. Enjoy your trip.

We had trouble with a picky eater at WCC. And if the non-spice person does not like BBQ they probably won't like the Skillet Dinner, which is one of WCC's main attractions.

M - Epcot - Garden Grill is fine; Biergarten also has a range of non-spicy foods and Tutto has good Italian.

T - MK - I second Crystal Palace for dinner instead of CM since you are doing CM for breakfast another day; CP lets you see different characters and has a nice range of dinner food choices.

W - DTD - no opinion; haven't eaten at PH

TH - DHS - unless the characters at H&V are must-dos, this place gets pretty poor ratings for food. Breakfast is supposed to be best. Unless you need this restaurant for the F! dining package, how about taking the boat from DHS over to Cape May at the Beach Club? Non-character buffet dinner with both an American food section and a Seafood section (yum...crab legs).

F - AK - again, I'd suggest eating at a different resort. Check out the menus - would Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club or Turf at SSR appeal to your group? Or GF Cafe at the GF?

S - MK - yes, Tony's is a good choice

SU - CM for breakfast is a great way to finish your vacation!

Thanks for all your suggestions. I have another change of plans. I'm thinking Via Napoli in Italy on Monday instead and Liberty Tree Tavern on Saturday at MK.

How close is Cape May Cafe to Pop Century b/c we're staying at Pop and our flight leaves at 2:40pm Sunday afternoon.

Via Napoli in Italy should also be fine for the Epcot-Monday.

Be careful with LTT - it's a menu-only for lunch and a family style-only for dinner. Just make sure you are getting the one you wanted.

Cape May character breakfast your last day? Taking ME? ME pickup is generally 3 hours before your flight, so you will want to be back at POP before 11:30. Figure a maximum of 1.5 hours for the breakfast itself. Passporter has good charts for the transport times between each resort and the parks; look for the shortest combo time of Pop to a park and that park to BC/YC. Add in some wait time for each bus/boat (I'd figure bus from Pop to Epcot or DHS, then bus from Epcot or boat from DHS to BC/YC). At a very rough guess, you are looking for about an 8:30 am breakfast ADR.

OK:

Mon- Garden Grill is OK- the best thing it has going for it is characters. If your looking for good food I would suggest eating elsewhere in EPCOT; we have never been happy with the food there.

Tues- Chef Mickey's is wonderful!

Wednesday- Personally I would ditch Planet Hollywood and head on over to Raglan Road or T-Rex.

Thursday- Hollywood & Vine is defiantly fun for the kids and has good food.

Fri- I have never been to the WCC- you'll have to tell me how it is!

Sat- Good Italian food at Tony's.

and Sun- My one suggestion: since you have already been to Chef Mickeys- which is wonderful!- head on over to Ohana's for this last breakfast. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I hope that helps! Have a wonderful vacation!

We ARE taking ME. I just wasn't sure what to do for breakfast that last day. I originally wanted to do Chef Mickeys but would love to do something different since we are going to eat there already.
