Help!!!

My family and I are just 3 weeks from going on our disney vacation ( 4nights land and 3 nights sea). We are supposed to do CR in disney world with the dinning package and Wonder for the 3 night cruise.We just found out that one of us won't be able to travel out of the country right now. I am so sad b/c the kids are so excited as this is their first cruise. Luckily, I included the disney insurance for the cruise but not for the land package. We are still able to go to disney world at the reserved date. We are paid up for both vacations and our airtickets, transfers from world to port have been paid for. I have a few questions and will really appreciate someone helping me answer them

1) Will I get my full refund from disney cruise line? Do I need to show reasons why I cancelled my trip?

2) Can we apply money paid for the cruise to disney world?

4) Since we cannot do the cruise, we intend to treat the kids so which package/ deluxe resort should we stay at?

4) How best can i make it up to my children in disney world since the cruise part is already cancelled?

You never said how old your children are, but if they are older The Beach club might be good, then you can spen time at Storm along bay...

4) How best can i make it up to my children in disney world since the cruise part is already cancelled?There is just so much to do that i think you will all have a good time anyway. You can do water parks, go to one of the Spas, take a family tour.....

I am not sure about the answers since it is close to time. But a few years ago we had booked a Land and Sea and then found out I was pregnant. At departure I would have been too pg to be allowed on the cruise. So they credited the cruise part and then we applied it to a week at WDW. Best wishes for a magical vacation!

I didn't know that you could seperate out your insurance for the cruise versus the hotel, did you already call whoever you booked thru to get the info?

I am sure you will have a fabulous time, so don't stress about upgrading, perhaps it will lend to another furture trip with the money you'll recoup!
