My daily question is here again.

Ive just got my tickets through and have hit what I think is a snag. I was expecting to get my disney and universal passes delivered and what I really have is an e voucher that is exchanged when I get there. Now, this at first may not seem a problem....however

One of my children turns 3 one week into the holiday. Needless to say (on the advice of our travel agent) we havent paid for their passes on the basis that he was 2 when we bought them. Now, if we have to hand in a voucher when we are there, we will have to show ID. If we show ID then whoever supplies us with the tickets will see this problem and see that our 2 year old is only valid for free entry for one week.

Worse still, by the time we get to universal with our voucher to exchange he will be three, which makes the problem worse.

So, here are a few questions.

Will I have to produce ID for my 2 year old or do I get all the tickets based on my ID?

Does my 2 year old even get a ticket given that he is free entry?

Am I likely to get away with this or will I have to stump up extra cash when I get there.

Cheers all.

The age for the tickets is for the age at the time of use not the age at when you bought them.:)

I know the CMs do keep an eye on the age of the kids going in from what other people have said here, whether they ask for proof I don't know.

Personally I would buy tickets to cover him for the week after all he is 3 and knowing what three year olds are like, is likely to shout it from the treetops. I would rather not have the worry of being turned away during the week he is 3, getting into the theme parks can be stressful enough and time consuming especially at Magic Kingdom. Also you could be faced with a few entries per day if you park hop. But then that is me I like to be honest and pay up when I have too.

we went when my DS was just over 3, we weren't asked for ID for the group, just the lead name on the e ticket ( no one questioned my son's age , except at Seaworld ) I know it's a tad dishonest, but it did save us a lot of money... :woohoo:

Surely if you bought them before your hols and then don't worry about it. One week he is 2 the other week he is 3, i'm sure there will be no problem at all. I doubt very much that you have to show id for a 2 year old.
Don't bother buying a ticket, if there is a problem and a cm asks then explain when you bought them.

Hi
We had vouchers when we went and noone asked for ID.You didn't mention where you are staying? If you are on site the pass will be loaded onto the room key.My daughter had her own room card as it also acts as a pass and she was just 3 when we went the first time.Like mentioned above it goes on what age they are on travel date and it would be unfare of them to ask you to pay the higher price when he is only going to get 7 days worth from the pass. When you go to get the tickets from universal get the lead passenger to go up and keep the little one occupied/or go and get your vouchers changed before he is 3(I think you can do this correct me if I am wrong)you will have nothing to worry about. They will not ask to see his Id so please don't worry.
Have a great time:wizard: :woohoo:
