Help! YC, BC ir BWI????

This is our first time staying at Epcot area resort...we will be staying standard view in either BWI, BC or YC the end of August. All are the exact same rate. Any suggestions or help??? It will be DH, ME and DD7. Thanks!

We visited and dined at all three before choosing to stay at YC on our last trip. We highly recommend the YC.

I can't believe they are the same rate! If you are going in August, I'd pick either BC or YC because they share the best pool in WDW... really worth it! YC is more quiet and formal; BC is more laid- back and lively. We prefer the BC but know of many who absolutely love the YC. You can't go wrong with either one!

IMO we loved the boardwalk.. of course, we stayed there on our honeymoon so i'm a little biased.. but, the rooms were great and our view was wonderful...

we've also stayed at the bc, which is equally as nice.. since you have a daughter i'd vote BC because of the pool.. can't beat that pool..

We love the YC. As someone already mentioned, the differences between YC and BC are the "feel" of them--YC more formal, BC more laid back. But we never felt that the YC was stuffy and had no problems feeling out of place. THe other big factor for the YC is that all of the rooms have full balconies. It was nice to sit out there at night while the kids were drifting off to sleep. It gave DH and I time to sit, relax, have a cocktail. We loved being able to walk over to the excitement and hustle of the Boardwalk but being able to retreat back to the YC. Also, Stormalong Bay cannot be beat! Have fun!

Boardwalk is my favorite Some of the standard views there look at world showcase in epcot and you can see Illuminations. I can't wait to go back!

I was leaning toward BC/YC b/c of the pool. Then toward YC b/c of the balcony. I've always wanted to to stay at BWI for some unknown reason..I can't explain it! It is $1917 AAA for 7 nites (8/17-8/24) for either of the 3 resorts...aren't they usually the same rate? I'm hoping an AP rate will come out! Is one resort typically more expensive? Which one is closer to Epcot? (I'm thinking YC is!) I currently have ressies at Dolphin w/ a Government rate but I'm thinking of cancelling...too nervous about not staying at a "Disney" resort! Thanks for all the help...I'm still confused!

Beach Club is closer to Epcot. We love BC. We will be there again in Dec. I just love the whole area. I would happily stay at any of the Boardwalk area resorts. I love being able to walk right into Epcot, and there is nothing like going through that back entrance before WS is open to get to Fututre World!

I do have to say that I do feel in the minority about CBR but it is our least fav of all the resorts we stayed at. I found it way too spread out and we were in one of the buildings closest to Port Royale. The rooms were gross & old looking..very dated but I understand they have been remodeled. The grounds weren't kept near as nice as PO or DL. The transporation was horrible. We waited and waited for buses...then they were sooo full you had to stand. It is the only time I've ever stayed at WDW that I was like.....NEVER AGAIN. My DH felt the same way. We love DL/POR but did not like CBR one bit. I know many people love it but I certainly didn't!

Out of the 3 I would definitely do YC. Each room at YC has a balcony, and SAB is just the best pool anywhere on property. The only thing I would say is working to BWI is that there standard room views on a whole are probably better than YC, and definitely better than BC.

I stayed at YC for my honeymoon, but had a water-view room of Crescent Lake. Thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the view of the Boardwalk across the lake with the boats floating along on the lake.

Whatever you decide I don't think you'll be disappointed. Good Luck and have a great trip!!

Never stayed at BWI, but I have stayed at BWV, BC, and YC. I prefer YC. The balconies just add so much to the experience. I enjoyed all three places but YC seemed just a touch above the rest. The pool is great and I liked walking out to the pier with the lighthouse. The view of the Boardwalk is nice from here at night too! You can't go wrong with any of them.....but I vote YC.
