Help with XMAS 07 booking

I don't know where to begin. We want to book Dec 18-28 and I was wondering what is the best way to book if a possible discount is offered? Say discount is for bookings 11/28-12/23, is it like booking in value season and you get that price for your whole stay even if it changes seasons or you cannot book a discounted package if it runs over the dates offered???

What about ap discounts? Any chance of getting any for AKL or Poly for Dec 18-28? I was looking at CSR but if I can get an AP rate or even a discounted package would like to go Deluxe. Want to book soon and not sure what to book. Or I could book the Poly and if discount package comes out get it applied but if no discount switch to CRS but would i have time before my 45 days???? Sorry if this is confusing for anyone but I am confused... I am thinking for dates over Christmas I will have to pay rack rate???

I believe your check-in date dictates the rate for the rest of your stay; so if you check in during value season, you pay that rate for the entire stay.

As far as AP rates, I am not sure about any discounts. You can check out www.mousesavers.com to see if there were any last year. Go to the FAQ , find the question about "when will discounts be released?", and from there, use the link for history of past discounts (when they became available and for what dates they were good for )
