We are returning in January for 11 nts and will be staying onsite. Trying to figure out best (most room, least money) place to stay. We are Myself and ds (8), my parents and my aunt and uncle and their 2 kids (13 and 15).

Just returned from 14 nts at POP and would be fine with doing that again. We could of course do 2 rooms but 3 would be better.

What would you do? I do have an AP for discounts if they come available. Looking to spend less than $300/nt in total.

Are you splitting the cost of the room or are you paying for the whole thing? If you're splitting you could do a home away from home resort and get a 2 or 3 bedroom. Or, rent points from a DVC owner and split the cost of the points.

Take a look at the cabins, you will be surprized how great they are.

You might want to consider each family having their own room instead of all of you in the same place. It's nice to have your space at times without everyone around. The WL is a great place and is one of the lesser priced deluxe resorts.

least cost - Pop Cen again.

least cost but alot more room - OKW - 22 points so $220 in sept, dec 1-14 and jan - Sun thru thurs night. fri/sat more points so more costs, and other seasons more cost.

you know what you get with PC.

a 2-bedroom has a king bed in the master, a queen sleeper sofa in the livingroom, 2 queen beds in the second bedroom - 2 baths - the master has a whirlpool tub and a shower stall - a laundry room with a full size washer/dryer. A full kitchen with all the cooking stuff, pots, pans, dishes that you will need. A dish washer....

a large balcony - with a table and 4 chairs - there is also a table with 4 chairs in the dinning room.

the queen sofa - has a love seat (big enough for a small child to sleep on), and another chair with ottman. the master bedroom has another chair w/ottman.

3 tv's - in the livingroom is a DVD/VCR also. You can rent DVD or VCR from community hall.

I think I would go with PC to save money....

of course if more room would work better - a 2-bedroom is very nice.

2- bedroom capciaity is 8. any more and you need to rent a studio too - or go with the GV (too expensive in my opinion)
