I don't know why I'm having so much trouble with deciding where to eat...we've been to WDW a bunch of times & haven't been this indecisive before!

Anyway, me, DH, DD5, and DD2 will be there 7 nights in Jan., and the only ADR I've made so far is for Le Cellier.
Here are some on my wish list:

MK: Kona Cafe (skipping over to the Poly from MK), Crystal Palace dinner, maybe Liberty Tree Tavern

MGM: 50’s Prime Time Café (like the atmosphere, unsure about the food - not a pot roast type of person), Brown Derby (too stuffy for kids?), Mama Melroses (never been, love Italian food, but how good is it?) DH likes H&V buffet and wants to go back there.

AK: Yak and Yeti (if open) or new Tusker House buffet

Boma (love it) or Jiko (would love to try it, but not take the kids!), Whispering Canyon Café (maybe - only reason we would try it is we're staying at WL)

EPCOT: Princess Breakfast at Akershus (don't think I would like the Norwegian food - don't like smoked fish and lingonberries, but my DDs love the princesses esp. Ariel! Not even trying to do CRT this time...did it last year and want something different.)

Any thoughts/opinions? I know this sounds like a ton of other threads out there, but I know you guys don't mind giving your recommendations/warnings. :) Thanks for helping me firm up my plans!

I don't have any thoughts or opinions, because it's been 10 years since I've been to WDW. We're also going in January. 50's Prime Time Cafe was on our dining list. But according to All Ears it's going to be closed for renovations starting January 20th.

Just wanted to let you know. Hopefully you're going before the 20th.

I love the Crystal Palace myself, and Boma though DH does not so we're skipping it this trip. Akershus - we had lunch there last December, just two adults, and the food was not horrible but not memorable. Really, the kids we saw did'nt care what they had on their plates because they were too busy with princesses! We saw some awesome princess interactions...there was Snow White, Jasmine, Ariel, Aurora, Belle...I think that was it. All were wonderful.

MK: Kona Cafe (skipping over to the Poly from MK), Crystal Palace dinner, maybe Liberty Tree Tavern Kona has fabulous food!

Mama Melrose is good food, not great service and the bread is very very hard. Knowing that, I would still recommend it.

AK: Yak and Yeti (if open) or new Tusker House buffet

Boma (love it) or Jiko (would love to try it, but not take the kids!), Whispering Canyon Café (maybe - only reason we would try it is we're staying at WL) WCC is alot of fun! Good food and the kids will have alot of fun!

EPCOT: Princess Breakfast at Akershus (don't think I would like the Norwegian food - don't like smoked fish and lingonberries, but my DDs love the princesses esp. Ariel! Not even trying to do CRT this time...did it last year and want something different.)

The only other suggestion I would have is for you to dine at Kona after your AK day. Then dine at LTT during your MK day instead of my 1st suggestion of Kona. Akershus does have other food than the smoked fish stuff. I think you'll enjoy it!
