We are going on a last-minute cruise in April and my son asked if could do just one thing at theme parks before heading back. We are also going down in December where we will be doing Disney cruise and then Universal, Hollywood studios and Magic Kingdom. Our vacation last year included Epcot. 3 years ago, we went to Animal Kingdom. My son really wants to do magic kingdom, but I told him to hold off until December and hopefully Tron will be open, and we can do the Christmas party. I asked him if he would suffice on waterpark, he said OK. We are on a budget though don't want to spend more than $350. That is for hotel and waterpark. So, I was thinking Gaylord Palms. Looks beautiful and they have a waterpark. problem is reviews are not good at all. The Grove good reviews waterpark looks just okay. Cabana Bay - subpar reviews. or find a cheap hotel but I'm a stickler for very clean and comphy beds and then go to Volcano Bay. We went to Volcano Bay last year and my son loved it. So, if anyone stayed at these, please give you input or if anyone knows of cheap around $125 hotel by Universal let me know. Lazy river is nonnegotiable. The one thing I liked about the Grove is there are 2 bedrooms, so we don't all have to be in same room. Son is 20 and has autism.
