Hi.

I have XX points left this year--OCT UY. I will make sure to bank them, but I doubt that we will even use them in 2010, so I'd really like to try to transfer them to someone.

If someone wants points for an Oct vacation, do I need to bank these points first and then make sure the banked points are the ones that transfer?

Or, do I just offer these points for transfer and then they bank or do whatever they need to with them?

Out of my element here and am a little nervous about the whole prospect, but I don't want to just lose these * points, either!!

TIA!!

Edited to remove number of points so as not to be construed as a Points for transfer post - Chuck S

You can not transfer banked points. So, if you want to do the transfer, you should offer them up prior to your banking deadline.

As the person doing the transfer, you don't need to worry about what they will use them for...simply say that they are October 2009 points. If someone takes them, they can then bank them so they can use them in the 2010 UY or use them before they expire.

Good luck!

Thanks Sandisw for the reply!

So I just put out a post that I have XX pts to transfer, Oct 2009 UY and leave it at that??!! (and put the price, too, of course!)

Any other advice greatly appreciated!

:)

It helps if you let members know what your home resort is also (but do not post details here).
