Help with suggestions for Epcot dining...

I would appreciate suggestions for dinning with my family at Epcot. There will be 3 adults, a 3 year old and an 8 month old (not dining ). We are planning to spend the day at World Showcase on December 21st. We are doing the Future World activities on an earlier date and will be having lunch that day at Le Ceilier and dinner at the Garden Grill character meal.

What would you suggest for lunch or dinner options? My family tends to not be very adventurous in dinning.

Will the restaurant be open in Italy? Has anyone tried it? Are we too late for ADRs?

Try the Biergarten in Germany.

My 10 year old DD LOVES the Biergarten. She only eats hamburgers and chicken fingers and still loves eating at the Biergarten.

They have a wonderful roast chicken and potatoes that I cut up for her. And she loves the rolls and butter.
The food at the Biergarten is not soooo different that I know you can find many choices.
They have salads, veggies, chicken, pork, bread, and good desserts.
We make a point of always eating at the Biergarten at least once on every Disney trip.

And the OOMPA band that plays is a great distraction and provides a fun atmosphere for the kids.
They even invite the kids to come down and dance.

Might I suggest the Coral Reef. The kids get a real kick out of eating next to a giant aquarium filled with things like giant sea turtles and sharks.

After that I would consider Norway for a great character meal or for some neat fun, go to Teppan Edo. You get some great food grilled up right in front of you by a Japanese chef. It is usually very interesting for the kids.

Though I have not eaten here - I have heard that children enjoy the restaurant in Japan, which when it opens will be called Teppan Edo. I am looking forward to eating here on an upcoming trip!

Also, any prefer the Cantina de San Angel (counter service) in Mexico to the table service San Angel Inn. I enjoy both!

As you will be there a few days before Christmas, you might have trouble getting reservations at this late date. Before driving yourself crazy trying to decide where you eat, you might want to try calling Disney Dining and seeing what is available.
