Help with restaurants for fussy kids

Hiya, we're not off to DLPR until May for the very first time but this board has me addicted and I can't think of anything but all things Disney so I'm back again for a little more advice if you don't mind.

DH and I are taking our DD (who will be 4 whilst we're there), DS (who is 1 on Sunday) and our niece (who is 11). Our kids aren't too bad eaters but my niece is as fussy as they come - she only really likes chicken nuggets and chips, pizza or plain pasta though she would do a chicken dinner with no veg!!! We have Half board standard vouchers and definitely want to go to Annetttes which seems perfect for us but for the other 2 nights I'm not so sure. Original plan was to go to Santa Fe buffet night we arrive as this is where we are staying and then possibly the Cheyenne buffet but wondered if there were any other restaurants that may be suitable - I would consider upgrading to half board plus.

We've paid seperate for the princess lunch for my own princesses birthday.

Any help is so much appreciated.

a lot of places have chicken nuggets in the kids meals. annettes definately has. so does cafe mickey. the buffets normally have pizza. as most restaraunts do pasta for a veggie choice im sure you could ask that they leave the sauce off or separate. sorry i cant be of more help

I have the complete opposite problem with my DD in that she will not touch chicken nuggets, burgers, chips etc. The only fast food she will eat is Pizza....she wants a 'proper' meal which is really difficult when you just want to grab a counter service snack at lunch.

I do wish there were places that sold baguettes, fruit, yoghurts that sort of thing.

We got baguette type sandwiches (jambon et fromage, etc.) from the Market House Deli on Main Street. I think that they also had a (poor) selection of fruit available (and by that I don't mean a toffee apple )

PS. You can also get baguettes (and more) at the shop at the railway station just beside Disney Village.

I added details of the buffet food on the Chuck Wagon/Cheyenne review thread. They definately had nuggets, chips, pizza, plain pasta, plain bread rolls, plain jacket potatoes. I wouldn't take her to the Agrabah though!

I'd recommend the Plaza Gardens restaurant it's at the top of Main Street and it's covered with your HB standard vouchers, it's a buffet and last time we ate there it had everything from pizza, chicken nuggets and chips through to roast meats, veg and garlic potatoes and salads and pastas - there should be something for everyone there.
In the studios I'd opt for Rendez Vous des Stars which again is a buffet, covered by your vouchers and I would imagine similar to Plaza Gardens.

We're doing both of these next visit with our standard HB vouchers, also Agrabah cafe, although that might not be an option for a fussy eater, we'll be using the vouchers at face value at La Grange at Billy Bobs and I've prepaid for the Lucky Nugget, as you might've guessed we tend to prefer the buffets.

Did you enjoy the meal there ? We've only eaten once before in WDS and it was dire, it was a fast food place - horrible, cold food. But I really like the look and sound of RVDS.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I'll stick with the standard vouchers, go to Annettes as planned and concentrate on buffet restaurants as it sounds like they have a bit of everything to keep us all happy and there are a few to choose from.
