Help me pick which resort, we finally narrowed it down for a stay for just 2 adults. Choice is between the Contemporary Tower Theme park view (not club level), Polynesian Resort standard room, or Grand Floridian outer building garden view? We are planning on booking for December to see MVMCP and doing alot of MK. Thanks!

You really can't go wrong picking from those top level Deluxe options. My choice would probably be CR for the ability to walk to MK and being in the main building, but it would likely be the most expensive. GF is great too and would be the most luxerious. Poly has the option of walking to the TTC to get to Epcot, but can feel fairly spread out. Good luck!

For 2 adults I'd go with GF. Poly is a great resort but tends to skew towards kids so a little more hectic. I'm not a fan of CR, it just too contemporary for my taste. As pp said, you can't go wrong with any of them.

I would book the CR tower TPV out of those choices. I like a TPV when staying in the MK area, if possible. The view from those tower rooms is amazing!! Request a high floor (best view) and an odd numbered room ( that way you can watch the castle / fireworks from bed).

You will be able to walk back to CR after MVMCP and at closing, bypassing everyone else in lines for transportation.
The benefit of the ability to walk to/from the MK cannot be overemphasized.

Everything is under one roof at the CR. (The pool isn't as great as the ones at other MK resorts, but, hey, it's December!)

You have direct transportation to every other resort in WDW from the CR: Poly and GF by monorail, Wl and FW via boat, all other resorts walk to MK bus stop (5 min) and board the bus to the resort of your choice!

Monorail to Epcot or the MK.

California Grille and Chef Mickey's at the CR for great dining at your resort.

Contempo Cafe is a good quick service.

Rooms are large and VERY comfortable.

As PP said all three of your choices are amazing. So which ever one of these you decide to go with, you will be very happy with your choice!

Enjoy!!

It's a personal pref, go with the theme that appeals to you. No bad choices either those 3. We love GF, and Poly. CR never held much appeal to me, lacking pretty grounds. I feel GF & Poly have more charm. But that's me,
CR does have an advantage as mentioned, of being able to walk to MK.

I can't imagine anything better than seeing Wishes from your hotel room, so CR TPV would be my pick. As pp said I would request a high floor. If you've ever dined at California Grill you'll have an idea of how amazing it is! Only.... It's every night!

I would probably go with GF for an adults only trip. The theme at CR does not appeal to me at all. TPV would be nice, but I wouldn't pick my resort solely on that, there are plenty of other good places to watch Wishes.

Contemporary. If you're focusing on MK, nothing beats the ability to walk to and from. Be sure to get ressies for Chef Mickey's.
