Hi Everyone!

My 11 year old wants to eat dinner at the Animal Kingdom's Rain Forest Cafe when we visit WDW this fall. I know... I know, but after all he is 11. When is a good time for a PS - right when the park closes or before? We will not have a car this trip and will rely on Disney transportation to get around. How long after the park closes do the buses run? I don't want to be stranded waiting for a bus to take us back to the resort.

Thanks for your help!:D

MY DS12 wants to eat a the Rainforest Cafe on our next trip too. We ate at the one in Disneyland and he loved it. DH & I didn't think it was bad, so we're going to give the one at AK a try in Dec.

I personally can't imagine staying at AK until closing. We usually do a couple of mornings during our trip and leave around 1-2 pm. It just gets too crowded for me.

As for the buses, they usually run for about an hour after park closing. Now there is a bus that continues to run from Epcot to AKL to AK, then back to Epcot until at least 9pm. I ridden it serveral times. If you eat late, you can always grab this bus if nessessary. Then get a bus to your resort at Epcot.

Have fun and post a review when you get back.:D

Thanks Mattsmom! I didn't know about the bus to Epcot - that is good news. My 11 year old is so excited to go and we can't wait for him to experience WDW for the first time. Any other helpful hints are much appreciated:earsboy:
