Help with Photoshop Please!!

Hoping some of you smart people can help me out.
I have been trying to make pictures for my neices rooms using Photoshop 6.0.
using this technique.http://www.planetphotoshop.com/tutorials/lesa1.html
I have the been successful up until the very last step but cannot seem to get the picture to move around using the directions as they are written here.
Can any one help me???? Please???

Post the TEXT and the pic and i'll write up how to do it..

Then you can move it around to your liking or whatever.

EDIT: Basicly you can make the text all one color and then select it and delete it.. save as a .gif and your test area will be transparent, and you can copy/paste it over whatever pic you want..

Still, if you post them i'll do it and write up some simple instructions..

I use 3.0, and I've done this technique before. What exactly is happening? Does the background move instead of the text or will nothing move?

nothing will move i did get it to work but had no idea what i did..

Hmm that website worked fine for me..

Don't forget to drag the text layer below the pic layer..

then click inbetween the two layers like the site says..

Then you should be able to click the text layer and move it around..resize it with transform.. ect ect.

Try it again and see if it works.. i'll write up easier directions when i get home tonight.

There must be an error in the software as after I click the text button and try to drag nothin happens .. though I was doin g something wrong.. thanks again!

Maybe in 6.0 it wasn't available yet.. i use cs2.. so not really sure whats changed since then.
