We need a bit of advice with our schedule in late August... We're going to be going to Discovery Cove, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World and Busch Gardens... We've going between the 24th of August to the 30th of August.... So 7 days all up to see 5 parks...

Basically I wanted to know just how busy these parks will be and how much time we would need at each one... We would want to cram evrything we can in... Will be there at park opening and getting dragged out at park closing...

Since there is a weekend in there I was wondering which park/s we should do then? Busch Gardens is open between 9:00AM and 7:00PM on the weekend... An hour and half longer than during the week... Is it worth going because of the longer hours, or will that time be chewed up because of more people?

We will probably be doing Discovery Cove on the 24th, but that is flexible still...

So an example plan was this....

24th - Discovery Cove
25th - Islands of Adventure
26th - Universal Studios
27th - Sea World
28th - Busch Gardens
29th - Revisit one or more parks
30th - Revisit one or more parks

We have been to IOS and USO way back in 2002 but not any of the other parks... We will have a car on the 28th, 29th and 30th... The car hire can be extended if necessary....

Any input greatly appreciated...

Where are you staying? Is it one of the Universal hotels?

I would do Discovery Cove on one of the weekend days for sure, since they limit the number of people that can attend any day. I think I would do Sea World on the other weekend day, because it isnt as busy a park as the others. Then do the others on the weekdays. :goodvibes

Late August wont be that bad anyway as school is back in session in most places by then.

Thanks lindalinda.... I always forget to include at least one piece of information :rolleyes1 We will be staying at the DoubleTreenear Universal... I know it's had some mixed reviews, but we'll keep our fingers crossed... The onsite hotels were a bit outside our budget this year :(

You know I didn't even think about doing DC on the weekend... Great idea because of the limited numbers :thumbsup2

So revised schedule with that very helpful info would be

24th - IOA
25th - USO
26th - Discovery Cove
27th - Sea Wordl
28th - Busch Gardens
29th - Revisit one or more parks
30th - Revisit one or more parks

How's that sound guys?

Sounds great. The end of August has very light crowds, because the kids are back in school.
