Help with morning of 1 day MK plan

I am planning a one day trip to Magic Kingdom on Saturday, April 30, with my mom and sisters (4 adults). We currently have fp+ for HM 10 - 11, PPF 11:15 - 12:15 and SDMT 12:15 - 1:15. We have pre-park breakfast reservations at CP for 8:20. My current thought is to go to Adventureland after breakfast and work our way around to Liberty Square and Fantasyland getting to our fp+. We also have lunch reservations at BOG for 2:15.

Do you think the HM fp+ is unnecessary and I should pick something to use after lunch instead? I'm wondering how busy HM will be around the 10 - 11 time frame. We will probably want to do Splash Mtn after lunch, would it be better used for that? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I would see what else you can get in place of Haunted Mansion - something like Splash, BTMR, Space, or Buzz Lightyear would be a better use of your fast pass.

Does Haunted Mansion typically have lower wait times before 11? We want to do that ride for sure, maybe more than once. It's a favorite! I'm considering switching it for an early afternoon Splash Mountain. We don't plan to do Space Mountain.

For MK you might consider rope dropping for the first two hours. Then three consecutive FP+ and then go for more after that. You can move your next FP+ time up once you are on the ride for your first FP+ (over simplified version). If you schedule an early afternoon FP+ and choose to not move it up once you are in the parks. It will limit the number of follow up FP+ you can receive...
