When I tried to book on line or at least see if anything was available, it does not allow me to click "want to use my dining plan for reservations". A message comes up saying "We were unable to confirm your resort reservation. Please check the details of your reservation and try again, or call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463."

I would definitely call. I believe you have to use 2 TS Credits if using the dining plan. Depending on what restaurant you will get and what time (lunch/dinner) it may be a better value to pay OOP and use the Credits for another dinner.
The CSR on the phone should be able to find something for you. Make sure you have multiple selections, in case your first option isn't available.
