Help with making a change

I have a wonderful design done by Leonsmom. Sadly she is unable to do designs now and I need to have the hair color changed on one of the people and the year 2008 added. Can anyone help me out? TIA
In this I need Nana's hair changed to brown.

I have changed one just using the eraser and paint brush in paint, it was very simple, you may be surprised how easy changing the hair color is. Just a thought if you can't find anyone doing this design anymore.

I tried this and it doesn't look right. I was hoping someone has a more advanced editing program that will work.
