Thanks in advance!!

First Decision: Are you staying "on-site" (in Walt Disney World itself) or "off-site" (not on Disney property). Right next to the page BobP provided is a helpful guide to making this decision, http://allearsnet.com/acc/onoff.htm .

People on this board will strongly encourage you to stay on-site (I'm one of them) in spite of the cost. There is another board on this site for "Orlando Hotels and Attractions" that is a better source of info for off-site resorts. www.mousesavers.com features some selected off-site resorts in detail. There is no question you can get better value off-site but many other advantages come with on-site resorts -- your call.

If you decide to stay onsite, then you need to decide whether to go for a value resort ($79-$125), moderate resort ($139-$189), or deluxe resort ($205-$555). Prices are rack rates, before tax, and depend on the time of year you go and (for deluxe resorts) which resort you choose. See http://www.mousesavers.com/roomrates2006.html for full details.

If you're a glutton for information, the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World (commercial guidebook) has a wealth of information on both onsite and offsite hotels.
