Help with June or July trip please.

We are wanting book a trip for the summer. We have never been in the summer, I know its going to be HOT But I was wondering as far as crowds which would be more likely the best time to go between June 24-June 30 or July 11 July 18. We are going to stay at CSR. Also whats the chances of getting a promo??

We have already booked for June 25 to July 2nd next year. Wouldn't it nice to receive some sort of discount code like this summer's 4/3 or % off code?!

According to the Unofficial Guide's website (touringplans.com) it shows July's dates as being slightly less crowded than June's (an 8 on their scale, vs. a 9 in June).

I have a good feeling there will be some sort of offer. If you look back at the historical dates for discounts, they almost always have something out there, it is just a matter of getting it applied to your reservation, and being aware of when these discounts come out.

We went last year during the last week of June until July 5th, you are right it was hot, we usually try to as early as possible in June but last year we decided to go during the 4th of July. It was crowded and there were a ton of school kids from Brazil there, it was kind of cool because there were groups of them that wore the same colored shirts and they moved from attraction to attraction in a huge group. If we seen them heading to a attraction that we were heading to we would shift into high gear to try to get ahead of them. We didn't have a promo for last year but in either '04 or '06 (can't remember which) we had a special thru Visa that kids under a certain age stayed and played for for free as long as you paid for the trip using your Visa. I've been getting a ton of email and post card offers for this year but can't use them. We are planning on going next year since we go every other year and I'm hoping that I get a code when I can actually use it.

I'm betting we will get good discounts for next year.
